  1. Ya the Big Blue ball in the middle is an acquired taste. The forged one is sexy. The shafts are fantastic.
  2. The "on the screw" irons are their nicest product imo. Both the CB/MB are on the larger size made of S20C, its a cool looking design. A little busy in the text but who isn't in JDM land. everything else is pretty funky from woods, to other irons, If your eye can get used to it perhaps it's worth a shot. If I were considering new irons I'm not sure they would be near the top of the list though.
  3. Thanks for that, corrected. It is 15 grams cut out on the center and moved to the perimeter. Thx!
  4. Two ways to go about getting a set, the fastest is to order from the proshop: TSG ProShop it would look exactly like what you see in the pictures above. TSG can also order you something very special if you don't mind waiting. The program is called Miura Craftman World Irons: http://www.miuragiken.com/mcw/iron_set.html In a nutshell: - top line thinner - square toe - lead edge grind - trailing edge grind - both edges ground - center sole grind - many different finishes - paint fill MG Those would take about 4-6 weeks to build. We all know we would remove stamping if we could but other than that it's a pretty cool program MG's got going on.
  5. It's easy to take pics of such a beautiful golf club with such an obvious and unique feature, Miura's MB-5005 takes a different approach at understanding the relationship between muscle and cavity and to me it's a blade with a cavity and also a cool under channel shooting through the center allowing for better lower weight placement. 15 grams was removed from the center of the club head and moved to the irons perimeter, this iron the (05) is suggested to be played as a mid iron combo'd with a set of the 5003's. This is Miura Gikens forgiving cavity back... wait I mean blade. Here's looking down at the pitching wedge, it's got a wider sole than some would expect and I say good because although it's labelled the more forgiving 5003 it's still got a butter knife top line like most Miura irons. Let's take a look starting with the PW working our way down to the number seven then four. How's that for a great looking PW, Miura Giken nailed the shape on these and the finish. http://www.tourspecgolf.com/miura-giken-2014-mb-5005-forged-iron-5-pw Features and Technology - S25C WDD Accurate Forged head for soft and consistent feel. - 15 grams heavier head than the previous MB model with lowered CG to promote a higher launch. - Unique cavity within the Muscle Back to distribute weighting evenly in the toe and heel; making it easier to produce a straight flight. - Minimal offset design to allow for workabilty in both directions. - Slightly wider sole than the previous MB for smooth flow across any surface. - Thin top line, compact head, and smooth rounded toe that is popular among better players. Below: Wow, just wow the face profile on this PW is gorgeous. Seven Iron 4 Iron
  6. This year its the GR line & PHYZ, most of us aren't interested in PHYZ so here's the GR: http://www.bs-golf.com/products/catalogue/2013/x-gr/index.html#page=2 - X-Blade GT Forged Iron - X-Wedge Forged M - GR Driver, Fairway, UT & GI iron Before that was the X-Limited Series: http://www.bs-golf.com/products/catalogue/2013/x-limited/index.html#page=2
  7. Not often does a brand release a driver with a slightly open face angle standard but the specs on this says it comes a half degree open right our of the oven. It's 440cc's, deep faced, 45" D1 or D2 swing weight. TSG can also custom order this club from the labo department for hand picked heads and custom Labo shafts, color, & grip type & color. I haven't hit it yet, has anyone here? It's not an actual Labo Spec department club but it's obviously spec'd out right for the average TSG'er.
  8. Isn't that silly of them, they actually list the UT shaft in cpm's instead of flex? The Vizard UT950 is almost as stiff as NS950 Steel and a lot stiffer than the ARMRQ8 UT in stiff. If you want a softer you can go lighter with vizard or if not at the stiffer end of the ARMRQ8 series. I know your looking for SR but the cpm's on the ARMRQ8 in stiff don't play read like a normal stiff flex.
  9. What do you mean Calvin? The BM535 is an original design by Jbeam. The TRPX D & S is an original design exclusive for TRPX by Jbeam.
  10. Yes these are still for order. Just started shipping. Golden week starts on the 3rd in Japan so carpe diem.
  11. I'm pretty sure they will stick any vizard UT shaft in there for us. Here are your options, scroll to the bottom for specs: http://www.honmagolf.co.jp/en/item/vizard/ I don't see any SR but I do see R and we can inquire about SR or picking a shaft closest to it.
  12. Of course it's superman! that's a hard pill to swallow for most people.
  13. Thanks for writing this Leonard, correction you have 5 more months before your 10 year anniversary! Anyway thanks for the years of support. I went ahead and gave you the 10 year badge:
  14. The shaft is ahead of the head so it's hard to tell. When I hold a club with my left hand and take the shot that is the tendency. If I were left handed and holding it with my right the shaft would be behind the head. Everything looks closed to you! Supposedly straight, think their trying to trick us?
  15. No response? I'll just stick these pics of the FW in here then
  16. DAT55 is a gem, expensive Japan made material. The shape of the shepherd is very unique as well. There is a brand called Protec, they make those superman drivers and are one of the very few that have made a driver at Endo using DAT55 sourced elsewhere. For the higher handicap player in non conforming its rumored to be tested as the longest in that segment based on swing robot analysis. I haven't hit it much, Craig is it not so forgiving?
  17. Yes I'd have to agree with you there. This 800 alpha and the Quelot alpha are something else. We always known this and its crazy that we don't sell more of these especially at $260 bucks. Anyway no more thread jacking from us, this post is about the Air which I'm still waiting for mine.
  18. Lots of TSG'ers are loving this driver. It's got a DAT55 face.
  19. There are many Geotech heads available are we talking about the Quelot A-Spec?
  20. Here it is the grind and style we decided on after trying many types. During our testing we found that the wedge/CB/MB work best with a small amount of offset. This is just a little less than say Mizuno blades. Actually they were kinda the benchmark, we wanted a Mizuno like blade that had more feedback and felt a bit more pure yet still soft just not overly soft.. We and Buchi were very happy with how these turned out, clean and classic blades that feel stupidly amazing and are pretty easy to hit. #nosheepanymore enjoy the pics!
  21. BM-535 is on it's way to me. I'm very excited about this head! TRPX is an original design produced by J-Beam for xXx it's not used as any other models.
  22. Thanks to baddmnkey for the comparo pics. I think this pic shows the difference in finish pretty well It does have a bronze tint to it, very interesting. The top line is similar in thickness to other players CB's it's not ground at the edges. This change is very visual and mental it doesn't have that smooth curvy transition into the neck, The 358's transition is much stronger and straighter looking in it's lines. This is something new and different. These are also unique for the ultra sharp toe but then again Shingo has always been a wild man with his gear no matter what brand he plays for. To top it all off the entire face is CNC micro milled then it's laser engraved on top of that which is extra bad ass for Endo. This also isn't a replacement for the 13 onoff forged, because they had to make all new molds for Shingo's fancy needs and the CB358 is part of that limited run.
  23. It's thick and sharp and the toe is pointy, it's shorter heel to toe than the previous. Very edgy and Shingo like imo.
