  1. I would compare the ONOFF S-Forged to the Vokey Forged instead of the labospec.
  2. I originally sold those to someone. They are the Jersey logo Seida wedges. I like them. The condition is not so hot though. It's a very forgiving wedge, nice and soft I think it has mill marks.
  3. Played another round with the Fiamma 60S yesterday w/Ryoma head. Pros: - Love the looks - Love the feel - Love the kick Cons: - Dispersion too wide - Fragile Finish
  4. Egg II is for sure longer than the RBZ and easier to hit. The Ryoma can keep up with the Egg II provided you got the right shaft. I sold my Egg for no good reason. I need to shaft my Ryoma F2 up as with the stock shaft I don't get that FW80 straight shot Love so much.
  5. Yesterday played 18 at Dragon Ridge and it was my first time gaming a 64*. I love them out of the bunkers alls i had to do was open it up smash/slide the club head into the sand behind the ball, the results were easy outs with no fits. Mentally the 64* took me on a ride though, My brain could not accept this thing only went 50 yds. if I could just squeeze another 10 I could utilize it a lot more. pic
  6. I really like these and equally to the AF-Tours. I'm assuming they are a more traditional blade shape designed to promote a perfectly placed CG.
  7. The TM adjustable/interchangeable technology weighs 6-9 grams. That's no good. All of them are that heavy. It puts the designer in a box and limits them really all in the name of adjustability. TM is stuck they should go back to non adjustable designs. It's a marketing guys dream and a club designers nightmare. It's Japanese not Japs, please.
  8. Crazy actually says for most players the CRZ-450 is optimal. Lots of people love this head. Heres a pic of the Crazy version:
  9. More forgiving than most. they are on the small side but not what I would consider compact.
  10. It's funny how some can keep a longer shaft in the fairway better than a shorter one. On the LM longer shafts consistently have more head speed. but if your not hitting it center that will do little for your score.
  11. I agree that the AF-Tours are tops.
  12. Not saying this applies to gbs but generally we see guys buy X-Series tourstage product and complain when they aren't able to maximize performance either through a lack of swing speed, ball striking accuracy, etc... It's a series designed mostly for pro level players who request a more firm feedback giving feel or workability and compactness in a club. GR fits a wider array of player and so does ViQ but X Series you gotta have some umph.
  13. you will lose head speed no doubt but gain a bit of accuracy. Also keep in mind many driver shafts will be ruined cutting them that short.
  14. It reminds me of NGS shafts, the president/designer used to work for them. Ive got the fiamma in a Ryoma now and agree with gbs its got good feel. I just need better dispersion.
  15. The usa doesnt know whats its missing with these endo forged beauties! Another nice wedge is the JDM TM ATV forged.
  16. Beat Takeshi is one of my favorite Japanese actors loved his work in "Zatoichi" the blind swordsman.
  17. Geotech = Underrated Drivers, wedges, fw, irons rival the biggest U.S OEMs. Geotechs parent company makes most of the usa big box oems items
  18. I think its more product by product. Some niche JDM brands make both great and not so great products. Yes Ryoma and their drivers and FW woods. Btw I know designers for BIG OEMs who praise the D-1 driver big time. Crazy shafts well there is nothing better and I dont foresee anyone in the near future beating them as they really do spare no expense when it comes to their shafts materials, designs, and tech. We cant really discount the big JDM brands though they have it down pact. I dont really understand golfers who play only one brand of clubs completely. Its about picking the right individual club for their most common shots or faults.
  19. yup the one you got there is for the low capper. It's deeper than the M215 I used to play.
  20. I don't think any of them represent JDM drivers very well. Even on a super tight budget I can think of so many better clubs. None of those are very forgiving. If I had to give the nod to any of those it would be the Yamaha. I hope your not paying much for these. They are dated.
  21. Kamui all day by a large margin. Quality, fit and finish. When it comes to performance it must match your swing & specs not to mention shaft. Baldo is easier off a tighter due to shape. Yes Tats please add ONOFF Type S to the proshop. I think its AMAZING!
  22. We brought in most of the main Basileus shafts and none of them really impressed. I wanted to like them because they are so darn pretty but in the end compared to Crazy, Quadra, Graphite Design it didn't hold up on the track man. It looks awesome, feels nice, but doesn't perform as well as others we offer.
  23. Russia used to be the largest supplier of Ti scraps from back when they dismantled much of their military. Those scraps have dried up for the most part.
