Jdm driver
my guess is that they are just very good designs made with good materials. Both drivers mentioned are also pure designs no fluff or things to tinker with. It must be fun for you to have those two heads they are very different yet both lots of fun. 152 is underrated i think. And your FEX, those are some nice sticks.

CRAZY 460 vs ryoma VS jbeam
Your awesome stew, that crazy is exactly as you describe. I gamed it with several shafts, longest drives ever were with the super high launch LY01 hot. way too high. CB46 leaked a little right for me half the time, while the good ol CB50 was solid! I always have a weird desire for the jbeam 425 tour in 11* with a half degree closed face angle. I think that would be a good trajectory on a very tight flight. I can't see me getting off of Ryoma/Muzzik anytime soon.

RC DB Proto wedges. 52/58 # 177/500
The pics I just posted are of a DB forged with at least 200 shots hit. The finish indeed held up very well, I like brushed satin as it hides scratches easily.

Is this a real Miura wedge?
Miura's new wedge is pretty nice, were testing it now against others and it's doing very well. Feels nice too.
-
low spin. low launch shaft
So I guess the key is finding a head that launches a bit higher?
-
Highest spinning wedge shaft available right now
I get a ton of spin from even the new grooves, sometimes even zipping back. I'm wondering what the common denominator is with players who have seen a huge drop in spin with the new groove rule? Are you guy's sweepers?

which flex for matrix altus hybrid shaft for 98 mph driver SS?
Yup it plays stout but stiff should go well with a 98mph swing. I've used an X with good results in the past and I should be using an S.

RC DB Proto wedges. 52/58 # 177/500
We have been testing the DB forged for almost 2 months now. It's an outstanding wedge no doubt in the top 5 of whats available in japan right now. Could be top 3...

my Epon's.....
Yup birchwood casey super blue, It will scuff after a shot or two but if done properly with cold water and steel wool it can make an old club look quite nice. I used to do a lot of it then stopped as it wears quicker than an OEM treatment.

Off to the club builder

tourstage v7000s and bridgestone ray floyd wedges...
I would say forget about the re-groove. get yourself a new set of irons the V7000's are very old.

Epon 901 driving irons??
Dale the 901's are known for great distance, I've played them a long time with steel and graphite. I think steel was better for me. It's gotta real hot feel off the face, goes a long way. I now days replace a 4i (905CB) with a Srixon #4. Similar loft but the 901 was a lot longer.

my Epon's.....
your irons look stunning. is that a smoked out shaft?

The Official YONEX Ezone Topic!
Yes CB and PB are both Endo Made. I can only guess that the MB is made by Zodia because they didn't need to produce thousands of sets.

Af302 copper straight from the shop
Yup wmc, you are one of the early adopters of Epon! The technity is still my favorite Epon wedge, even over the 208/210. It's just good feeling and straight forward pure. I think it matches the AF302 better than their current wedge.

Crazy CB-80II Nero/Crazy CB-80LS Noir
Same here, have a Noir in a Crazy head and it's dead straight with a high launch for me. Loads of Carry little run. It's in the AF152 btw. I love the active feel it has.

Royal collection D/S 11.5* + 13* arrived...........,
I just put this into play and found little use for it. I still use the Egg Spoon off the deck, I did a small shoot out between the two off the fairway and I make poor contact with the larger headed 11.5 (stock shaft). Very low, little carry, and lots of run. Something about the contact I make with the 11.5 that doesn't suit me. Off the T it's setup is outstanding! I can hit very accurate low drives with a small fade. It's for sure better than my driver into the wind. On extremely tight holes it's the key but for normal driving holes and long fairway shots this club has little use in the bag. I would love the club if everyday was windy.

AKIRA GOLF - OFFICIAL LAUNCH TOPIC!
Wondering if anyone can help me on this. We have sold a ton of Akira Tour wedges in the last 2 days. Anyone know what's going on to spark this?
-
Players irons, Slim sole but high bounce
What's the issue your having? I don't follow bounce angles on irons at all to be honest but if digging into turf is your issue or you play in softer conditions there are different shaped soles I can recommend.

AKIRA GOLF - OFFICIAL LAUNCH TOPIC!
While I'm not the biggest fan of the entire line up or how it's laid out (a bit confusing) there are a few that stand out big time. The M209 driver, M series fairway woods are a must try, the KS201 irons are the best Cast club I have ever hit. The wedges are fine especially the H2 if your a better player BUT the design has been done before many times so it's nothing new but still decent. The thing that makes people play the wedges is that they teeter on the line of being legal and illigal groove sharpness. Akira wedges and Kenmochi have some of the most spin in today's conforming wedges.
