Sorry to go nuts again but: Benock really is a brand for the hardcore and while most people look at Okuda-san's putters and think they look just like other brands, In fact they are made different. No polishing of edges, no bending of neck, no welding. this thing is pure 5-axis perfection. No other putter keeps the chuck on the sole, all others are mounted on the face. I've said this before and will say it again you can hand 10 million dollars to cameron or any other and ask them to duplicate what Okuda-san does and they will not be able to. When our customers need a different neck the entire head cad must be altered or the CG will move and shift away from the sight line. i.e like a circle T or lamb putter. No bending lie or loft as it's all milled to spec. Any brand that will change a neck without changing the entire heads CAD is taking you for a ride.

Irons do not need to be on the list to be conforming. The sus316 should have conforming grooves. sus316 is a great material in irons, unfortunately people (casuals) have some type of opinion that may preventing this material of gaining traction.

But not to worry, we have been working on the JGF Online Show and based on brand participation it will be better! Starts March 23rd thru 25th. But there are so many brands wanting in's on this event it may stretch up to 10 days in total.

MCI's and Aerotech are similar in many ways but MCI across the board is better imo. Our customers have made the switch and can attest. MCI is a little boardy but they are nice and accurate. if you have the right specs and flex they can feel wonderful. I have played MCI's personally in many sets of irons. I prefer standard MCI to MCI Black personally but both are great.

COA is made by Mamiya FYI. Right now there are so many great shaft options. Really hard to choose and the numbers don't help. What I mean by that is if you match the torque, weight, bend point, flex, cpm's it still doesn't explain how it will perform. From a design and manufacturing standpoint. I like: Fuji, Mitsu, Tour AD botique - I love loop, crazy, waccine, roddio, basileus etc..

I think TC-101's with MCW is a good option. Yes, Tour Nabla's, iD BL's, something along those lines refinished. The KK CB, I am working on replacing this model next. Easy choice but $$$

2011 thread here, haha. Endo has lost it's Mojo and most of it's golf customers. Endo Japan no longer forges. Much of that staff has moved on. Endo thailand services their golf division. --- So in a nutshell here is what happened. - long time ago most quality drivers were forged body and forged faces. - china comes along and produces cast bodies for cheaper - endo loses customers. ** The world is still not aware drivers used to have forged bodies, no one told the industry during the change from forged to cast bodies. ** Ryoma is only forged body FYI. - then adjustability comes along, endo stays purist due to 9-12g extra weight near the hosel and does not go along with this trend - more customers move to china. I agree, still to this day adjustable hosels are not a good design traight. - endo japan golf div closes and moves rest to thailand while laying off many staff - some my friends. - endo's original founder is canned, son in law to founder of factory. too much hanky panky. - epon is now run by people who were not there from the beginning. they clock in and out. brand loses soul imo. they don't remember TSG created their model names and logo and brought them out in 2005/2006. - China has really stepped up it's game and can match Endo forgings ( almost ). Now OTA and FuShen are tops as far as size goes. Tier 2 factories are just surviving.

Years back I had some UK co. alchemy golf refinish 60pcs Seven OG wedge heads - the non-conforming ones. Holy s**t. they messed up all 60 heads with terrible finishes. I tried "nicely" to get them to fix but they disappeared. I find them in storage and I'm like what do I do with these now. unsellable for sure yet brand new. No where does quality finishes in USA. These are discontinued. sad. If you are the type who likes a patina wedge let me know. I can sell each one for 50 bucks + shipping.

yes and even if your lofts match up the distances may not due to the club head design. So actually mapping out the distance gaps is importanto.

Consider higher launching shafts for deeper faced woods. For me I value straightness and consistency for my FW. I could care less about distance if it means my #3 gets me in trouble.

No more tour world as the TR20 replaces it. I was a big fan of 747P. hope the new P is equal or better. I got all samples here and will shoot soon.

I don't think hunting for S20C makes much sense as based on the design, finish and dimensions of the club S25C can easily feel softer. feel really depends on many factors then if you move to SS400 or S15C you are even softer in theory but have lie's and lofts getting bent out quick. Of what you mention TC-101 with MCW options sounds awesome.

It's pretty much a uni-flex shaft. Somewhere around SR flex. Yup 95 and below is good advice. If your tempo is quick and at 95 maybe slow it down.

Common problem. Irons are designed one way, then blade wedges another. true Matching wedges are key but brands don't do it as they would sell far fewer blade wedges. If you must go blade wedges test the lofts out to see if they fill your gaps.

My wife is going through vertigo recently. Epley manuever which can be done at home has helped. youtube it. Also your doc may want to check for an infection in the ear. --- You always look fit to me, for sure diet and exersize helps. I would do full checkups with my docs. start the new year off right.

Thx Stew, MB's dont sell well in Japan and Korea. They sell like hot cakes in the states. Yes their looks have a problem.

There isn't any process called CNC Forged. AXIS is using KYOEI forging and Oichi in others . S25C and S15 or SS400. Right now there is a huge issue with brands in Japan stating S20C when using SS400 or S15C. For example Axis Z1 wedge and irons is S25C by KYOEI - Z2 and MB is claimed S20C but its an Oichi blank thats never been offered in S20C. Oichi does not have S20C but I see brands using Oichi forgings and labelling them S20C. If I contact Oichi today there is no S20C. Also only the back face is CNC milled which is a travesty, Where CNC matters is that the face and grooves are milled not the back face. Also anything KYOEI has more presses and a precision press where Oichi does not have a precision press. Precision press is exactly what Miura calls W.D.D and Miura learned that at KYOEI. imo. forging vs forging KYOEI tops Miura and Oichi but for shape, fit and finish Miura wins. U guys want TSG to sell AXIS?

loved the non-conforming shaft on the GIII. Thats the future of non-conforming if you ask me. spine at 6pm to avoid head droop. that's the ticket!

face deep or shallow and the size of the head matters for the player. Ryoma for example. super forgiving and long but if your a shallow face player you may hit something like the Yamaha or Crazy longer. similar story very much to super egg FW by PRGR. I love MA01F and H. distance is no good, it's straight and low though with plenty roll, keeps me out of trouble. one mans longest is not another mans. depends on how we make contact and more.

TSG has been saying MB-5003 is Miura's best blade since 2007, no one listened and while during that whole time USDM casuals is saying baby blade and 1957 is their best which by the way have not been used in Japan for over 20 years and are shovel shaped in the short irons. No idea why people's eye's can't the oversized look in their 8/9/PW for all the Miura Legacy models. Now the MB-101 comes out which is also the 5003 and all of suddenly everyone thinks 101 is the best. It's a 12 year old regurgitation branded as new for the global market TB-Zero will likely be the MB-102 in the future based on their release history. Here is how it goes - take old Japanese model, change stamping and release as new in the states. Oh boy can I go on a rant about this... let's take EVNROLL. while MGS, WRX and others are touting this as a revolutionary new groove pattern the tapered groove described in their patent in 2016 was in use since 2003 in Japan. Hoshino Gauge Design Putter, GTD Limited 150, Even the Reoness RP-02M has them in our proshop. Titleist VG3 comes well before C16 but everyone thinks the new T400 is based on the C16... nope. The predecessor of the C16 is the VG3 so that is the origin. compare VG3 Type-D to C16 and T400, not only in looks but tech and structure. PXG? HT1770, hollow, TPE in body that's not PXG, its Maruman, Bridgestone and Yamaha almost a decade before. USDM brands finally going Ti in fairways and UT's. omg. this is OEM's having to do this at the last moment to stay competitive on distance against each other while Japan has been doing this for a very long time before. All of the above examples are touted as new or fresh patents on WRX and MGS because these guys simply listen to what the brands tell them. A bunch of golf writers and testers not industry experts. You can tell they are in the OEM's corner when everyone releases new info on the exact same embargo date. Because if you don't then you are out of the media group. What kind of spy is that? rant over 🙂

so we got a few of these. pricey though as I had to pay full price to get them. whats cool is they have milled grooves. Yea so last march i was at kyoei and started looking at their past molds. pain of a job as these things are heavy to move. They have stuff that wasn't touched for decades but they are sitting on a gold mine. came up with this design and concept using the K1, their first blade mold. Lot's of history on this mold. Many victories a long while back.
