  1. That's so awesome, I don't think I've gone past 47" and that was just for fun and not taken seriously. You playing a 47+ makes me want to try the same.
  2. Not so popular in Japan but TSG has sold them for years, they are a little louder, more hollow in the 460's, nice and long forgiving, very modern design but I must say a bit cheesy and cartoonish for me. They don't feel expensive or at the top end but there are players on the Japan Long Drive tour that have used them for years.
  3. Right now these have not gone on sale yet, making some adjustments and eliminating some models. I think 10 was overly ambitious and that 5 models sounds better now we are focusing on making the proper adjustments before release.
  4. Thank you and I should have an answer in a day or two about the bending.
  5. The conforming version of this driver flies just a touch higher than the Egg7 which I considered medium trajectory when I was playing it. The non conforming version is just a touch higher than the conforming version. Of course much depends on the person hitting it. I think they are now measuring loft or listing it differently because 7* must have scared a lot of people away.
  6. I've never been a fan of the standard from PRGR because I don't hit them as well as others. That doesn't mean it won't work for someone else though. yes I notice what you have that many of our PRGR customers use the standard shaft, I'm just not one of them. Shafts are such a personal thing.
  7. Just got a new clue guys, Titleist has stopped selling the current VG3 CB... Usually when Titleist Japan does this it means the replacement is on the Horizon. My guess is at the next golf show in Feb.
  8. What seems to be the problem with it's performance with the current shaft? What are you trying to achieve? Lower? more roll? straighter? that will help greatly. Also your age/handicap/driver swing speed/ tempo, if you don't mind.
  9. I'm pretty sure, looking at the cavity and shape of the club and the finish, I don't think it's Endo. But on top of that I can't name a club TM has ever made at there. Endo just doesn't do a small run of 1 model for customers and this was a fairly small release.
  10. It's the same size 460 but deeper smaller face and slightly more player specs.
  11. None of the new line up is released yet. Sept-Oct release dates.
  12. Some snaps of the new super egg driver DAT55G face Non Conforming 1* open face that according to PRGR actually plays neutral Early Oct Release Date
  13. Yes on TSG we can get all of them and a couple more. just drop me an email ( [email protected] )
  14. In China as I recall TM never used Endo as far as I know.
  15. It's just another material used in drivers, it's been used by a many brands and isn't considered on the high or low end just another option usually for the body of the club, I wouldn't go searching for it or buy a club based on it.
  16. That is a new type of CFRP carbon crown, remember the TR340 etc Drivers? PRGR has been at the forefront of using carbon plastics in the for a very long time not the First but the most interesting and well thought out designs using carbon reinforced plastics. Absolutely it would, how PRGR measures it they are 3* open face angle standard in all lofts but when hitting it seemed square to slightly open. I'm sorry no as I often say to all our lefty members Japan unfortunately is only made up of 2% lefties :(
  17. It's smaller than the 2nd gen and a little deeper
  18. Yes and also where you play matters too in Vegas nothing rusts. In Hawaii even satin platings wear faster.
  19. I just asked and will post the answer shortly.
  20. Very different, they are more player for sure and have a better look at address, it produces a trajectory with noticeably less ballooning, I would still suggest Egg i+ for the mid-higher handicapper but I'm sure low and some of the mid cappers would choose the new Eggs based on looks alone. Of course the Egg i+ is easier to hit high but it also has a wider dispersion imo less accuracy. I can tell the tip of the standard shaft made for this new egg is firmer and perhaps the kick point higher but as far as materials and how they evolved the technology it's an upgrade for sure to an already amazing UT Iron style club. I have to try different UT shafts to see what is possible.
