  1. Im surprised to here that. I like to tinker, but I have played the retail R7 and kind of thought it was lame. One of the screws was loose, no not my screw. lol The weight is actually made of two peices and a screw. The weight came apart and no matter how much I tightened it it still rattled. Not a big deal but, heres the question. What happens if it comes loose in a round? Are you able to tighten it? Maybe a dumb question, maybe not. After that, I just thought I dont want to deal with it anyway. Seriously, if everyone is setting up the new R7 with a neutral position anyway, whats the purpose? I love the club and the whole idea but I really dont need it so Im looking for the same type of performance, if possible from a solid style club. Thats why I like the 300 tour, not even any tungsten and rubber to come out. Any more input on these types of clubs would be appreciated. Thanks again. G
  2. I did a search and wasnt able to find much. Mainly interested in the 300 tour and the 510 df. Is one longer? More forgiving? Softer feeling? Thanks for the help. G
  3. I'm in the market for a new driver. Im almost positive that I dont want a new R7TP so what is the longest, most forgiving driver of the bunch, listed above? What are the differences of them? Need one ASAP so any help in understanding the differences would be appreciated. Thanks, G

  5. I have a set of almost new I3+ blades that we had in our shop for a demo set, but almost never used. They are black dot (standard) with CSL light (S) shafts. Asking 425.00 or best offer. Email--- [email protected] if interested. Thanks, Grant
  6. Im stoked, I met a friend today in my small town whos very good friend works on a van for the senior tour. He's a 30 handicap and just received a Tour TP R7 and some tour v-steels. Im still in shock. Lets see if he can get some new proto irons for me.
  7. No questions asked. I want that baby! PM sent. Thanks, Grant
  8. I need to purchase 2 ss-03 3woods and a ss-03 7 wood. Prefer new ones. Any help would be great. Thanks Grant
  9. Man are they nice. Whew!! I still want to play Taylormade clubs if possible. I think I can wait until later this year if nothing else. Has anyone seen the new models? I also heard the Forgings, although different stampings were all from the same company, just mis-labeled? Sure would be nice to know what exactly happened there. Thanks for the info. Grant
  10. Two questions. After lots of reading on all the web boards, I am still unable to get the question of " What are the differences in all of the CB models? Japanese, Tour, miura forged, etc. answered. I am trying to order a set through P.U.D from my rep and I want to know if I will be getting the good miura forged ones. Next, who knows about the new offerings by TM? Heard about the new LT tour styles going retail? How about something like the machined models coming available and replacing the CB's? Maybe durring august sometime? Any help would be great. Thanks, G

I am looking to get ahold of some tour wedges or the fe2oe3 line, because the blacks were to hard. Any help? PLEASE? j/k G
  12. Im wondering what the differences are between the TM wedges. Mainly the Japan models, tour models, FeO2(numbers are probably not right there) and retail black wedges. I have hit the retail wedges and they felt a bit too crisp. ANy help would be great. Thanks, G

Im really looking for a 200 smoothie 15 degree. Even a V-steel tour head would work. I would be happy to throw in some cash If someone had one of the clubs I've listed in good shape. Thanks again. Grant

I have to get rid of this club. Its almost like new. A couple of scuffs on the bottom of the club, but top and anywhere else doesnt have a mark. I dont believe its been hit more than 20 times. I will also swap for a 983k in 9.5, shaft isnt important. Just the head is fine also. Any offers? Thanks, Grant

I am selling a like new 14 degree NP-99 with the NV75 in R/S flex. I love the feel of it, but its a little to low of a trajectory for my needs. I'm asking 230.00 for the club and head cover shipped to your door. otherwise I'm Looking for a Taylor Made 200 smoothie with any shaft, doesnt matter. My e-mail is: [email protected] Thanks, Grant
  18. I just bought the NP from a fella on this site. I have it in the R/S NV75 and love the feel of the club, but Im not as happy as I thought I would be with the trajectory. Im hitting to low of a ball. Im hitting it about 250+ but I need a higher flight. I'm wondering if the 15 degree wouldnt have been better with the R shaft. Im going to continue my hunt for the perfect three wood. :-) Later, G

What is everyones opinions on shaft pullers? Im looking to buy a new one and Im curious to see what type of pullers are favorites around here and what the pros and cons of each are. Mitchell? RK? Golfsmith? Thanks, G

Yes, your correct, they do have a new driver coming out. Our Rep said he was having a tough time getting a driver that I ordered because they are stopping production of the older styled drivers and have a new one coming out. I havent seen a pic yet, but I will let you all know when I get more info. Later, G
  21. Is it head only? If not, what shaft is in it? I am very interested. Thanks, G

My Rep just came out to our demo days and my first question was, "got an R7? Im a pretty good golfer and play to around a 2-4 handicap on any given day. I am currently playing a 983K and havent hit anything that I have liked more, and I have hit everything under the planet with most every available shaft, except the new MP-001. My impression was this. If you do not have one, get one! Not later, not tomorrow, today! It was unbelievable. It was a 10.5 with the stock stiff shaft and I was in love. I have a fairly consistant swing and as we hit, we would have the rep change weights around. I could not believe the ball flights could change so noticeably by changing a few weights. As I talked to the rep he said it was being used by players who frequent different courses and want to eliminate a certain side of that course because of OB or water or whatever. It worked flawlessly! If a person plays a certain course or home course 99% of the time and doesnt need to change it around, thats fine, its still the sweetest club I have hit to date. He had also said the TP version will be substantialy more and will come with 3 options for shafts. Fujikura 757, Fujikura SIX and a Mitsubishi $%^?. Also with more weights and a tidy sack to carry it all in, as well as some kind of awesome headcover. The retail version is 1 degree closed and the TP version will be either square or half a degree open, he wasnt sure off hand. The Retail version will be allocated after June 15th at a cost of 500.00 and the TP version sometime in July, again Im not sure of cost on that. This is the info I was given. If Im wrong about something, I apologize in advance, simply letting everyone know what was told to me. Interested to know about others experiences with this stick. Thanks, Grant
  23. I hit it and I get to hit everything at our course. Ive hit most every 580 and 540 driver with just about every available shaft along with Clevelands, callaway and also titleist. The worst club I've hit this year was the Fusion. It still feels like the C4 in my opinion. Again this is totaly my opinion, but thats what you asked, right? Hope you have better luck. G
  24. I have had 2 sets of MP-14's which have lasted me 8 years out of the 9 I've been playing. I need new irons but I have yet to find blades that I like better. When the 33's came out I was excited about Mizuno's new clubs but when I hit them they felt a bit hard similar to the hogan Apex blades when the new style became popular. I have hit the 681's (hope its the right number) from titleist and thought they were very nice and soft. Just not quite to my liking yet. Still no hole in one. lol G
  25. Looking for 13 or 14 degrees. Thanks, Grant
