got a Nationwide Tour issue Hi-Bore that I just can't get on with. Has no serials, and i know this doesn't denote Cleveland tour issue, but it comes from an impecabe resource. It is 10.5* and has a Diamana Redboard 73 S flex shaft. Plays slightly shorter at 44.5". Hopefully the pics will do the talking. Not really sure what this is worth, so I'm open to sensible offers. One other thing that needs to be thrown into the mix is the consistency of swing weights throughout a set. Many people are playing clubs off the rack that may have 8 different swing weights. I recently had a set of irons that the PW was D5 and the 3 iron D6. We may not all notice the difference of a swing weight, but we should be playing clubs that are consistent in my opinion.

ok, guys. my latest dilema. a wedge has 54* loft with 12* bounce. If i deloft it to 52*, how much bounce does this take off? Is it the same amount, ie 2*?

there are no shafts in them at the minute. But I can probably put anything in them for the right price.

I had the 302's and Scratch Cb's and trust me the Scratch are much much easier to hit. Your handicap range usually benefits from a little more off-set and this is where Scratch fits the bill perfectly. I enjoyed using the 302's but every time i set up over the ball I had a little doubt as to whether it was going straight or out to the right with a fade. This was eradicated with the Stratch. I'd go Scratch 10 times out of 10. if like me you were looking for a forged club with a little help and didn't want to go to a massive head like the Mizuno MX23's then the Scratch 2005cb's are absolutely perfect for what you're looking for - forged feel with ample forgiveness. the other irons you might want to consider are the x-tours.

I'm now sitting with 3 sets of shafts. A set of spined px 5.5, a set of dg x100's and a set of tc x100's. I really notice the difference in weight of the tc's but the x1's are definitely not difficult to manage. In fact I'd say that i prefer the feel from the tc's than the px. (suppose the px don't really have any feel, whereas you can feel a kick in the tc's) Think my new tour issue 735 cm's are going to get the tc treatment when i get round to it. Glad i stumbled on the tc's, definitely a good alternative to px (which i though could never be surpassed)!!

that's my dilema. I don't really hit it so high, have a ss of 105. even with a 10.5 head loft i still hit it quite low. but at the same time i don't want to hit it sky high either...... dilema....

traditionally i've played a 757 stiff to great effect. what do you suggest
