Any Gauge Design Tera reviews/comments?
I have a c/s model and its pure class. Previously i had a Red X2 and loved it, but this thing is just vastly superior in terms of look and feel. Also, I love the alignment aid. Two lines that you line the ball up inbetween. Very easy to use. The heavier shaft and head make it very easy to swing and develop a pendulum stroke. But IMO the best feature of this putter is the feel. It feels really soft but the ball comes off the face really solidly. Don't think I've had any problems getting the ball to the hole even on very soft Irish greens. Thoroughly recommend this putter. :tsg_smilie_cool:

What if....
I suppose for me the response to all these what if's? would be what tolerances are on the different spec's. If they are all made to the identical spec I wouldn't really care. Let's be honest, how many of us with handicaps actually really notice the difference?

G-Field Premium Zone #0, #1, #2
wow, Chris, when are these available. Think my The One might have to go on BST for one of these babies. Can't decide between 0 and 1 :tsg_smilie_cool:

The 2006 Tourstage ViQ2 430cc Driver w/PICS
just curious, but why did Tourstage go from a 450cc head in the V1 to a 430cc head in the V2?

Introducing the Gauge Japan Forged Terra!
ok, guys, here goes. Just took the Tera out today for the first time (winter conditions, poor bumpy greens). This is the best putter I've ever used. The extra weight in the head and shaft means that as long as you keep your stroke smooth it swings itself. Also, the two sight lines make a perfect guide to direction. But the best thing of all is the feel out of this putter. I can't really explain it. I already have a The ONE, which feels great when hit out of the middle, however, this putter feels like the middle all over the face. This one will be in the bag for a long time, I'm convinced of that.... WOW... :tsg_smiley_yes:

Mizuno teams with Bettinardi for new putter line!
I think if you read my post again, you'll see the words, from where I stand. this could also be shown as IMO or IMHO. In the UK Hogan is virtually non-existent as a brand. I recognise that there is a lot of history in this brand, however, in this day and age, I think (can be proved wrong) that not too many people play Hogan putters. I would guess that the history/heritage of the brand lies in their irons rather than their putters.

Mizuno teams with Bettinardi for new putter line!
don't understand this.... Its the second time in a very short space of time that Bettinardi has got into bed with another manufacturer that isn't really going to do his reputation much good. From where I stand Hogan is a non entity brand and Mizuno is known for its irons. Why is Bettinardi so keen to pair up with someone else?

Quality Shafts
I've played 757's for a while now and for me they are just fairway finders, with considerable distance as well. First time I encountered them, was after a Callaway fitting day, ended up buying a 415 with a 757. Dropped my handicap from 11 to 7 within a year, simply because I was finding more fairways.

Srixon forged wedges
I have 2 of these in 52* and 58* and absolutely love them. Even though they're currently my backup wedges (Scratch in bag now). they definitely won't let you down

I'm led to believe that there is no difference between retail and tour bridgestone heads.

Cameron Aftermarket Refinishing
I had a JAT refinished by Titleist. the first time I used it the finish came off the sole. I sent it back to Titleist who refinished it again at no fee. This time they put a gloss finish on the sole, more like the studio range, but left the rest of the putter in its original black. this worked out just great. :tsg_smiley_yes:

Mizuno MP003 Driver w/PICS
saw one of these in a proshop yesterday with a pink aldila shaft. Looked class..... even though I'm not a fan of Mizuno woods, this thing set up beautifully. Another driver to hide its massive size very well. Also, felt very balanced with a waggle....

Custom Shafts---Is there a difference?
all i can do is talk from person al experience. I went to a callaway demo day and the fitter put me on the computer. He worked out my launch angle, spin and ratio of club head speed and ball speed off the club face. He then recommended my ideal combination. I ended up getting a 415 with a speeder 757 S. This combo stayed in my bag longer than any club ever has. It dropped my handicap nearly 4 shots in a year because I was keeping it in play more often. I'd say find the best shaft for your swing and stick with it, no matter how expensive.... its totally worth it.

Fade to Anger
tell him to stop trying to hit the cover off the ball. Slowing it down usually rectifies this for me. Once he grooves this new swing he can start increasing club head. Nothing worse than not being able to get it off the tee...
