There is no public information that the HX ball is losing money. Where did you get this from? Forgings make up less than 12% of the iron market so why would Callaway want to make a forging when their Hogan division does that quite well? The GBB II driver is selling very well in Canada, now that it is at a better price point. I use no Callaway equipment but I can tell you that they are a long way from being down and out. They will release some very affordable and interesting products between now and the spring of 2005. My pro got the stats. They are losing money. Ask yourself this out of the top brand manufacters taylormade callaway titleist cleveland ping who makes a blade who doesnt who makes easy to hit irons EVERY1. My point about blades is supported strongly i think. 12% would help calaway alot right now.trust me callaway has lost millions and millions this year
  2. This putter is completely unused i won it and dont need another putter.i have pics if you email me ill acept £115 shipped

first off the hx ball is losing them more moneythan nething else.second taylormade can do both titleist so why cant callaway make blades and improvement clubs. oi and the x16s pro series r not truely players clubs with that big top line. to say the gbb2 is one of the best drivers on the market may be fine but prove it. not selling well looks ugly from my point of view.i mean look at the face half of the face is the curve of the toe.thats stupid.oi and another bedhogan is no where near as big a name as callaway. plus its the hogan top flight brand keeping callaway afloat i know thats a fact. even the teo ball is faltering.cause either everyone has 1 or dont want 1. in my opinion they need to get like titleist ot tm cover the market.

Is it just me or could callaway sort there profit loss very easily. There irons r ugly. If they made a set of players blades with proper hosels then they would make money. And there drivers suck. the fusion is the ugliest club ever. and back to the irons ever one looks the same the x14 and 16 r identical apart from a tiny notch out of the middle. They r easy to hit but y not make good looking clubs for the better players as well

its a graffa proto with blue paint scheme.its a 7.5 degree 410 head that sits square. i watched him at open on the mon and tue and he hit it sooo good soo straighty and god he was long.but the harmon thing is over.1 tiger and mark omera were making fun of him during the practice round and also tiger wants his coach to only coach him butch will never dump scott or clarke etc. oh but my coach went to a thing with all the harmons.they were saying tiger likes to hit a draw thats why he gets trapped and hits it miles right.b harmon said in 10 mins he could get woods hitting it good but tiger hates hitting little fades.however my pro looked at his swing and said thats the swing butch wants him to use.however they will never get back together.

i totally agree with you there tour stuff isnt for everyone.im off scratch and improving and i know that most tour stuff doesnt suit me.I also no that there are m,any people on here that buy tour stuff cause they think it is better but thay r just kidding themselves. lastly you could be a scratch golfer if you got rid of a slice.fair enough but i could be number1 in the world if i just holed more putts.also a fair comment.but see its unlikely to happen. my advice if you sort ur swing out u could get to scratch.if you are off 18 now its VERY unlikely you have a scratch golfers swing. ihave to say that through out last year i did have a majour slice with my driver so u no wot i didnt use it.
  9. i would say neone using blades playing of a handicap of 5 or above is kidding themselves. god some most pros dont even use blades

the retail r7 will be 1 degree closed it will have a shaft made by mitshbish i think the rayon. the tp will be a neutral head prob not open as anounced on here. to start with it will only be available with the 757 but the speeder 6 something later and the nv. the head shape will be the same but the tp will have over 360 weight combinations while the retail will have 6. however u will be able to buy the tp weights in a set to put on ur normail retail one

im looking for a taylormade tp rescue with 19 degrees loft. im in uk.shaft doesnt matter as im changing it to an s300
  14. yea im not sure ive got the 510tp retail 757 i get great flight characteristics.i was tested on a launch moniter s im prob not going to change unless i wait n get a cheap one or cheaper set it for low and useit in the wind.
  15. i no that some companies have in contracts that they have to have x amount of their type of club in the bag. also i no from a rep that on the euro our if u tee up with a tm driver u get £500 a tourny the 2 ball putter u get £500 and things like that tm do this the most they try and buy the market which is what they have done they tm players on yearly contracts like sergio r paid in a yearly sum.sergio got 4 million us dollars over 4 years i think. also im pretty certain that tm loses money. its salamon that keeps them running. think of all the money that goes on tour and marketing i dont think they make all of that back
  16. dto my knowledge duval had and i think still has an inner ear problem to do with balance.however he did shoot a 59 igota respect him 4 that.but i suppose he is a bit over rate although when he shot a 59 and a few years afterhe wasnt over rated.
  17. when woods won the masters to complete the grand slam or tiger slam his swing didnt crck under pressure when ernie and phil were chasing him. the thing about bad shots gettin good lies i agree and i disagree.if u hit 1 bad shot then yes but every player will prob hit 1 bad shot.tiger is hitting lots at the moment(i feel because he is trying to coach himself) but he isnt always getting good lies some are awful.luck evening out. it happens to everyone we only notice it cause we only see the big names to a point addressed earlier ben curtis wasnt lucky to win the open. he played 4 rounds better than anyone else. simple. he may have had good luck at some point but so will all the players. Links golf is based on that.some people think links is unfair that way but how can it be every1 plays the same course
  18. the tp has better shafts in it it will offer 757 the nv and somehing else plus on the thing about loft wont make a difference loft on a driver dictates more the spin rate than the launch if u have a high launch using the screws but have to low a loft then u wont have enough spin on the ball to keep it in the air
  19. justin rose was using rac prototypes do u have a pic of his bag
  20. im sorry thats crap we all no that when we r swinging good it doesnt stay that way it changes putting is the same the greens on tour r not about luck.woods putting stroke use to have a small amount of wrist hinge.now there is less. im sorry but ur just plain wrong woods isnt just s**te he is still in top tens and to say sergio is winning is a bit s**te he has won once.so has woods. u r just trying to put ur ability down to the fact the pros have more luck than u. wake up these guys r amazing. even a bad woods with the worst luck in the world would beat u and me. get a grip mate that is a radiculous comment. Woods has run out of luck. hahhahahahahah
  21. im sorry but for every good bounce there is a bad one people.to say u need luck to come 1st is a lie look at tiger that mean he is lucky.im sorry but im right here luck is a concept thought up by human that excuses mistakes.because u can say it bounced right and went in a bunker but then why were u near the bunker i n the first place.and then there is when the ball is heading for a bunker and bounces left and misses it.im sorry but tiger was winning cause he is good. its fair to say that bad luck may stop u from winning if it occurs on the last hole but and its a BIG but the person who then wins because of ur bad luck will no doubt have had bad luck earlier in the tournament. talking about poker if your read phycology of poker you will read that denail is a strong human action. and that luck is just people denaying the truth,in golf denaying that they couldnt have change what had happened because luck was against them. sorry guys but luck as we call it is a part of life its equal bad and good.

If the 9.5* R7 TP's are going to be square-.5 open, I won't have to buy a tour issue R7 :) ...I'll believe it when I see it though because the retail 9.5* 510tp's were closed. thats just not true my tm tp is square without a doubt i get tha6t stuff checky[/quote takes from tm website The r7 quad will work for players that possess the ability to repeat their swing and recognize changes in trajectory. Tour pros and low to mid handicap amateurs (zero to 18 handicap), will get the most out of the r7 quad. The head size, shape, face angle and workability are designed to work best in the hands of these types of players. "When we tested the r7 quad, the influence that the different CG positions had on players' shots became evident immediately," said Vincent. "When a player found the CG location that delivered ideal launch conditions for him, the boost that it provided in terms of distance and control was clear. At that point we knew that we had developed a technology that was meaningful and relevant. It was clear that the r7 quad permitted players to maximize the length and accuracy of their tee shots by dialing in the launch conditions that work best with their individual swing characteristics."

i think to use the weight effectively u need to have a neutral ball flight. i looked at the tm web page on press releases and it stated that the r7 was for good golfers with high swing speeds. i think this mean some one who hits hooks then slices the next if u hit a ball with relatively low side spin the weights will work
