CBS also had a blurb on their nightly news last week, and it was quite impressive. That dolphin was certainly jumping with joy after finally getting the right fit - took them several tries over there at the Bridgestone lab. Now where can I pick up a dozen of those new Bridgestone prototype golf balls that will give the ProV1x a run for its money in 2005...haha?! :bridgestone:

Chris, As far as I know, here are the top TM Pros who are putting the new TP irons in the bag: Goosen (2-5 & PW; 6-9 still using his racMBs) Lehman Weir (traded in his trusty 300s) Funk (traded in his LTs) Perry (FINALLY traded in his 360s - about time Kenny...haha!) Sergio still using his rac MBs, Irwin was still using the LTs, Polter was still using his rac MBs, and Choi & Couples can't part with the 300s. Not sure what Clarke is using these days. Anybody know?

Does this include new balls in the ProV class? Sure does! It's been confirmed that Titleist had a new ProV1 in play at the Tour Championship with seven players using it. Don't know exactly who but my guess is that Retief & VJ were two of the seven. :smile1:

TSG is also not fully compatible with Safari either. The members section sounds killer. Anything that would make it easier for me to post pics in threads would be great! And of course, I can't wait for the golf commericals from Japan! :smile2:

Only average, it will fade around the impact areas for sure. If it's anything like the X-Wedge Black, then yes, the black finish will wear off quite easily around the bottom half of the club - but I'm loving the look as it wears off!

Completely agree! WINN grips SUCK! Cheapest rubber compound used on the market. And if you are a range rat - STAY AWAY! Anybody who would pay $300.00 let alone $30.00 for a WINN grip are either ignorant or oblivious to the piss poor quality of a WINN (Hey Butch - they're crap...haha!). I went through two WINN A-17 grips with my 983K in less than a month, and the WINN that came with my TP Modena is pure junk. I replaced that one with a GD ION (yellow) and love it! :gauge:

TOURSTAGE X-WEDGE 01 BLACK! No off-set, low grind, perfectly forged w/ 99.9% fe content, and a set of grooves that NO wedge can match. Shaved at least 3 points off my cap since I put them in the bag (as well as a few covers off some ProVs and Apexs). :tourstage:

Thanks guys! I still haven't hit them yet since I have been busy with work, but yeah Friday is the day and it will be tough to take that first divot with these beauties...haha! I know I had a hard time breaking in my MR-23s when they first arrived from Japan! :love: And Breal, the satin finish is to die for :mizuno:

I am not able to special order offset or topline or custom grinds, let me just make that clear before i get a dozen PM's asking for no offset Irons. Sorry Primo, you're right. These are the standard off-sets for the MP-37s as confirmed by Chris, but they are so minimal, that it's almost indistingushable from the off-sets of the MR-23s. I'll get some more pics posted asap showing both side by side at address to show just how close their off-sets really are. And yes, it is a custom satin finish with only an M-stamp with black paint fill! :love:

First of all, many thanks to Chris & Mizuno Japan for making this special set of irons a reality! :logo: :mizuno: Total wait time from the day I ordered my set on-line from Chris to the time of delivery direct from Mizuno Japan to my doorstep was approximately 5 weeks - which is excellent. Ok, I wanted all standard lofts, lengths, and lies with aboslutely no off-set, and that's exactly what I got. I special ordered the awesome NS Pro 1050 stiff shaft and GP TV grips with "MIZUNO" down the side of each grip facing up. I can't begin to describe the AMAZING satin finish that these irons came with! The photos simply do not do justice to just how gorgeous these irons truly are! Included are a few pictures that show a comparison between the MP37s and the MR23s. If you want a particular picture of a different angle, just pm me. In-depth review coming soon...ENJOY! DM, I made the same mistake, only I ended up ordering a set of custom Mizzy Japan MP37s in a satin finish from Chris! In the meantime, the MR23s are still working just fine for me. Personally, I love the smaller head size as I find it easier to work the ball in both directions and attack the ball from all kinds of different angles - especially if I want to keep the ball low in the wind with knock down and punch shots. And out of the rough, the MR23s are pure money! :love: It will be very fun to see if my new mizzy set can knock the MR23s out of the bag. I'll know soon as they're on their way from Japan as I speak!!! :mizuno: :tourstage:

Chris, are you serious? I thought Mizuno Japan = Made In Japan, not Cambodia, Bangladesh, or something! I thought only TM Japan was out-sourcing their forgings to China and surrounding countries. Hummm, so all custom orders from Mizuno Japan really means another country from the Asian continent - even the forgings that create Tiger's irons? I guess their Grain Flow process could create some consistency whether the fires are in Japan or Bangladesh.
