PICS of my Scratch wedges $$
Those are two beautiful looking wedges! I'm looking to replace my trusty TM Tour Performance (Firesole) 56* SW, and was going to go with the TM RAC Black, but now you have me "scratching" my head after seeing your two new beauties...

Custom Mizuno M Stamps
A custom copper under layer on a forged Mizuno? Now THAT would be worth 12 weeks of waiting. Can I get in on that deal?

In your opinion what is the best fairway wood out in Japan?
Is this the same Royal Collection fw that TSG is selling at their webstore? I've never hit this fw or the TS F-Series before but would love to! I'm looking to replace my TM V-Steel 13* because I just can't get it off the deck as well as I would like. I think I need a deeper face on my 3 wood. And any input on these fws would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! _________________________________________________ Titleist 983K 8.5* w/ DG X-100 @ 43.5" TM V-Steel TS 13* w/ Rifle Tour Flighted 6.5 @ 43" TS MR-23 U.S. Spec CB 3-PW w/ DG X-200 Titleist Vokey LW 60* w/ Special Grind (Japanese Forged) TM Tour Performance SW 56* TM RAC Black GW 52* TM Rossa TP Modena 4-02 34" Titleist Pro V-1X

Mizuno History w/Pics
He did, but not for all of them. Definately for the 1996 Masters, but for his first couple majors he's was a Wilson Staff player. The exact models of either brand escape me at the moment. Thanks bma725! I thought Faldo always played Mizuno irons. But Wilson makes sense too. At one time, Wilson was the king of the iron game with their muscleback and blades. I remember those beautiful ProStaff blades when my dad would take me with him to those spring golf sales back in the early 70s. _______________________________________ Titleist 983K 8.5* w/DG X-100 @ 43.5" TM V-Steel 13* TS w/Tour Flighted Rifle 6.5 @ 43" Tourstage MR-23 US Spec CB 3-PW w/DG X-200 Titleist Vokey 60* LW w/Special Grind (Japanese Forged) TM Tour Performance 56* SW TM Rac Black 52* GW TM Rossa TP Modena 4-02 @ 34" Titleist Pro V-1x

Mizuno History w/Pics
INCREDIBLE! Chris, you never cease to amaze! Btw, did Faldo use Mizuno irons to win his Masters and Open Championships? If so, what were the sets, and if not, what irons did he use? Just curious...Thanks!

Tried VJs glove under the pit drill
I started pulling my short irons and wedges when I started opening my stance more. Hogan believed that opening his stance for the short irons would allow his hips to clear easier making for better contact, more control and accuracy. However, for me, all I did was simply come across my body too much because I have such a fast hip turn, I ended up yanking everything. Putting the ball too far back in my stance to counter act this resulted in popped up shots that didn't have the distance I needed. So I just closed my stance so the left foot is pretty much lined up with the right foot (just a hair opened), and presto, no more pulled shots.

Some JPGA Bag Scans
If I'm not mistaken, that looks like a beautiful, very limited TS Maru 23 Wedge sitting next to the TM Rac Black. But I could be wrong... Speaking of the Rac Black wedge, that must be an import because I heard that TM doesn't make a Japanese version of the Rac Black wedge, or am I mistaken about that? _________________________________ Getting ready for next weekend's 104th playing of the U.S. Open by constantly watching the entire final televised round on NBC of the 1995 U.S. Open @ Shinnecock Hills, NY!

tigers crossfire steel shaft????
That definitely helps! Thanks for shedding more light on Tiger's new shaft. I just love the way these pros tweak their gear to its maximum potential. Replacing 6-8" and replacing it with a lighter steel above the tip to make the overall weight of the shaft lighter is ingenious. Btw, What cc was Gore's Ignite? And that Nike Slingshot 2 iron is what Immelman has also been using to help post a couple great wins in 2004.

what's in K.J Choi's Bag?
As far as I know, it's the shortest stick on a driver being hit by a PGA professional right now.

tigers crossfire steel shaft????
According to True Temper, the Crossfire is the first superlight alloy shaft designed specifically for fairway woods and hybrid clubs. Designed for a high ball flight. Now this doesn't mean that TT hasn't developed a prototype for Tiger to use in his new Nike Ignite driver. We shall see... Here are some specs on the new Crossfire shafts: tip dia. = .335" or .350" weight range = 95 gm. (r-flex) to 105 gm. (x-flex) butt dia. = .600" bend point = low tip stiffness for all flexes = soft lengths = 41" (hybrid iron) or 44" (hybrid wood) price = $13.95 each ______________________________________ Titleist 983K 8.5* w/ DG X-100 @ 43.5" TM V-Steel TS 13* w/ Rifle Tour Flighted 6.5 @ 43" TS MR-23 U.S. Spec CB 3-PW w/ DG X-200 Titleist Vokey LW 60* w/ Special Grind (Japanese Forged) TM Tour Performance SW 56* TM RAC Black GW 52* TM Rossa TP Modena 4-02 34" Titleist Pro V-1X

R7 Staff Bags
Instead of waiting to tell us when the time is right, and have customers continue to buy TOUR products with the TM label on it, why not tell us now what the problem is here? And when you say TM tour market, are you also including the TP line of products? Please lay your cards on the table for all to see...Thanks! Im not gonna put all the info upfront because its not the time yet, but to give you a rough idea about whats going on here is a price of authentic factory made items: R7 TOUR Quad - 300.00$ Cameron Futura - 40.00$ X-Blade CB's: - 550.00$ TM r7 Staff Bag - 90.00$ Nike Ignite - 100.00 These are coming from Hong Kong and China, The Tour clubs are stamped with the Txxxxxx serial #s, These are the same clubs as purchased in the states. If you don't know the caddy or Tour player your club is coming from, its probably Grey market  My guess is 85% are Grey. These are made in the Same Factories as the Authorized product. After the factory closes at 5pm is when these Grey's are being made. They are not authorized at all even with the serial #s. and TM, TS, Nike and others cant control it even with investigators and U.S Marshall's. Only Callaway has invested the money to stop Tour Fakes by finishing the tour clubs in the U.S. This has been going on for about 5 years now their has also been reports on it on " Living Golf " on CNN and " Club Gear " Japan TV shows. These are the same product as the U.S OEM product just not Authorized with the same Quality assurance standards. My suggestion is get a name of the caddy and tour player or rep your tour club came from. Thank you! Your little morsel certainly answers some questions but, as always, creates many more for sure. I wasn't aware that this problem existed with Nike, TS, and Callaway as these brands almost never pop up at Ebay or other outlets with TOUR as part of the script for their equipment. So why is TM the major culprit in the Grey market? Does management secretly turn their heads on this after hours activity to promote their products indirectly through the golfing underground? And it seems to me that the major pieces of equipment prone to the Grey market are the metal woods and wedges. You almost never see sets of TOUR irons for sale. Two more qucik questions: 1.) Are there a lot of TM pros who sell their equipment on a regular basis on the secondary market? 2.) Is Titleist equipment immune to this Grey market problem?

Most overrated PGA proffessional current/all time?
How anyone could declare that Arnold Palmer was and is over-rated is beyond me! Not only did this man single-handedly bring the game into household of the average joe with his famous "charges," BUT he also brought the Open Championship back to its rightful place as a world wide MAJOR after years and years went by when nobody really cared about that tournament in the states (except for the great Ben Hogan!). Arnie is and will always be the KING! So lets be honest here: The most over-rated PGA golfer is and will always be GREG NORMAN. Of all the majors he was in contention, only two never got away: The 1984 & 1993 Open Championships. Yeah, yeah I know all about Tway and Mize, but look at his 1984 year for a perfect example of his over-ratedness: In the lead after three rounds in all FOUR MAJORS and could only close the door on the British. And lest we forget his failures at the 1993 Tour Championship to Jim Gallaghar, the 1995 U.S. Open to Corey Pavin, the two MASTER collapses to Faldo & Olazabal, etc., etc.The list is endless for Norman when it comes to all the tournaments that he could of, should of, & would of won...and never did. Truly a PGA career that was never fulfilled. How did Rick Reilly of Sports Illustrated put it: "When Norman is buried they should bury him in a silver coffin." How true, how true...

tigers crossfire steel shaft????
Last time I checked, Tiger was still using Dynamic Gold D-4 swing weight for all his shafts. Where did you discover this info? At his website? Couple of questions about R7
Completely agree! TM has stated that the r7 is for the low to mid handicapper with a consistent swing. At least TM is being honest about the fact that this new driver will not really be a game improving club for the average weekend golfer. I have to give TM kudos for that...
