Japan Golf Fair Quick Show Ending Video
I think they may be same at this point in time barring any last minute changes by Ryoma which I doubt given the cost to redesign, retool and the loss from Maximas already produced. Also means that Ryoma may indeed be outsourcing production to Taiwan or PRC which I am ok with as long as QC and standards are maintained and the head performs. This means that it is also now very conceivable that many other JDM boutique brands also outsource. Again, nothing wrong in my books as long as standards are maintained. Frankly, I strongly suspected this a long time back for various reasons. So is Ryoma acknowledging as well that they are 3 models : Type V, Type D and Type G and what they are supposed to be? Could be like the V-Spec, D1 and Premia? Any pics :-)

Thanks Tario for Crazy LY01 in Ryoma
I recently just put a LY-01 Hot Black in my RomaRo 460 HX Black and I think the 2 were meant for each other. THE 460HX has a hot yet softer feel ad launches slightly higher. ALso, the LY-01 is supposed to be Crazy's highest launching shaft but I do not find that to be so. I find it launches a tad lower and plays a tad stiffer than the TJ-46 Noir. Good to hear you found your magic combo. My safety combo is also a Ryoma D1 but with a TJ-46.

If i am DJ7-S user what flex in crazy FW80?
Gian, Have you tried the non-Proto FEX FW? If yes, how do they differ?
-
If i am DJ7-S user what flex in crazy FW80?
For me, I have only gamed the FEX 55 weight class and can;t speak for the 65 and maybe 75 which you may be considering. Feel wise, the FEX 55 being only 3 to 4 grams lighter than the FW80 but less HMCF content, was a lot better than the FW80 for ME. I have had a couple of PM chats with a couple of others here and I think they shared the same sentiment on feel which at the end of the day is very individual and hence subjective. Sorry to contribute to your confusion.

I would say definitely a stiff in the FW80 and if you want contorl, erring on the side of being stiffer will give you that. ALso, what I have found is that 80T shafts tend to feel stiffer and maybe actually do play a tad suffer. I doubt the DJ is even a 40T. I tried the FW80 and play the FEX FW55. FW80 is just slightly heavier for the 6.4 tat I used to play but the feel was a lot more dull in the FW80 compared to the FEX FW. I think this is also done to the fact the FW80 is 80T and the FEX FW55 is what ever tonnage but not 80T I am quite sure.

Re-introducing S-Yard – The Rebirth of a Premium Brand and the T.388 Driver
For me, hitting Lousifer's T.388 with stock GD SR shaft, it ws nice and forgiving for such a small head. Had visibly good enough roll for crappy range balls and thick soggy cow grass in rainy conditions BUT its not longer for ME than the Ryoma D1 or my 435 which were hit side by side on the same day and same conditions. It's nice but I don't think anyone should expect this or any driver to give you 20 to 30 yards more especially if you are gaming of of the more recent JDM drivers. I got maybe a 10 meter increase in average driving distance when I switched to the Ryoma D1 and maybe another 5 meters with the 435 but that's because I was coming from a 4 to 5 years old Epon Af101 and some will argue with a lesser shaft i the GD DI. I doubt if I'll be able to find another 10 to 15 meters more with any new head in the next couple of years. If ever new driver really yielded 10 yards more, guys, it'll be like the latest Pro V or TM driver and we all know how all of them should be yielding a mile by now since the annual distance increase claims started LOL.

suggestions for a player's cb with NO offset
My 435 brother, Take a look at the RomaRo H irons. As you have seen with the side by side pics I posted with the Personals as well as the Epon Techinity, the H have very little offset (less than the Technity and a lot less than the Personals). Also, what about a straight neck Miura Giken like the 1007s? IIRC, they have very little offset as well. Could be wrong though.

Has anyone tried bending an Egg I+ 3* stronger?
Hi Tom, Yes.. I have heard of it. Not new and I think Ping has been using this technique for minor adjustments to loft and face angle. Up to a degree I think is possible. Unfortunately for me 3 degree tilt, it won;t work.

Has anyone tried bending an Egg I+ 3* stronger?
if you do, pls pm to let me know how it goes.

Has anyone tried bending an Egg I+ 3* stronger?
For me a definite yes! Its literally the ONLY club in my bag I did not mess about with this past Christmas! It feels light, is light, sounds and feels clickish but I can;t argue with the results!

Has anyone tried bending an Egg I+ 3* stronger?
Not sure but I think it is. Damn! I really wish PRGR comes out with a 16* EGG 2I+!
-
Has anyone tried bending an Egg I+ 3* stronger?
I'm thinking of getting another 19* 3I+ and bending it to 16* but am of course afraid the hosel will break.

S-Yard T388 Range Time
I think amount of spin correlates with launch angle and head speed. The slower you are, the more spin you need I think or the ball literally just drops out of flight.

If any club maker would make any one club you requested, what would it be?
Compared to Coops, hell yeah! LOL!

Dance with Dragon Wedges?!
Just an update on the DWD wedges after several more rounds: 60* - Just fantastic out of the bunker. Opens up very well and distance control is very good. Doesn't spin back as much as the Miura though (my old raw non-conform Miura, not the Y grind which sits in my golf cubby and has not even made it to the fitters to get shafted). Overall I would say the DWD is better by quite a bit and the finish holds up very well despite my using it only out of bunkers and 1 flop which I did not look forward to but managed to pull off. 54* - This is where the jury is still out. With my Miura conforming, it held greens very well and you could really attack the pin with above average confidence. The DWD 56 bent to 54 is still good but maybe I just need more game time with it. I did say this has the very big shoes of the Miura 54/7 to fill. 50* - Have dialed in the distance with this and this hold as well as the Miura. Greenside chipping is good and this has left me with many many one putts. Frankly I was a tad skeptical about the DWDs as really, they ain't cub makers.... but what this MT dude has done with these wedges.... good stuff and I'm very pleasantly surprised. Wedges that perform as well as they are loud in appearance! These wedges are staying in the bag but the Miuras will still be kept for now.

If any club maker would make any one club you requested, what would it be?
For me, I very much want PRGR to produce the EGG I+ 16* 2I. Tario or Chris, pls make a kind request to them. This would take the need for a 3/4W and would give any hopeless FW off the deck hitter a realistic chance of getting on in 2 for a Par 5. What would your one club only request be?

kamui pro VS epon zero VS crazy 435
Or cut off the crown for use as an ash tray. That's what my fitter does with old heads :-) Seriously though, the 435 is one head you should at least try.
