  1. Is the block filled and a solid mass or hollow? If solid, I imagine non sweet spot hits could feel really really bad given then very deep cavity design.
  2. The d1 is a fantastic fairway finder. My fairway misses when I game it is also a lot lower for me. Congrats!
  3. If you look at the microsite and the stats that they have posted, they must have obtained that with a finished product.
  4. Yes they are. No hi-cor Special Tuning version YET.
  5. Havent ht the Craft but the 460HX is easy and fun to play.
  6. Was wondering the same thing.
  7. Jay and Doc are right. It's just static length vs effective length or playing length which changes slightly. To the TS, get some lie tape, hit quite a few balls and see if you do indeed need lie adjustment. You never know.
  8. Sorry Chris. Have to disagree with you here rather strongly. I think for someone who has been comfortable with the D1 and the ST at that, its hard to see him being equally comfortable with the T.388. I really would not recommend the T.388 to most altough I know it seems to have been the flavor here for quite a while but if you look at the handicaps of those who like it, they tend to be single. A very different proposition to mid cappers and social golfers like me. To the TS, if you really do want to demo the T.388. The local dealer has this for demo.
  9. I' surprised at the late delivery as the local Epon and S-yard dealer (one and the same) I think will be getting the Bolds this week or so I am told.
  10. ok.. will check and pm you within a couple of days
  11. Will check and PM you. Your set definition is how many grips?
  12. I think my fitter has these. How many do you need? Will check cost for you.
  13. Goodness! That craft is seriously deep! First time I am seeing it and it looks pretty darn good!

Right hand and the satin version. Head only please. Thanks for looking.

Reinforces that fact that its really different strokes for different folks when it comes to golf. The 102 and 103 were dogs for me and the 435 continues its affair with me. I actually had to come down half a degree in loft for the 435 as I found the 435 in 10.5* loft just a tad high and my avg SS is only 93 mph.

I'm surprised the 435 is too much for you if you found the TP07 good. Congrats to te new owner. Find time to find the right shaft in this head for you and it will be with you for a long time.
  17. If you like the 302, I would consider the RomaRo H. It does have less offset than the 302 and you have just come away from the Personals which have quite bit of offset so I;m not sure how comfortable with less offset you are. The H will hit slightly lower than the 302 as well.
  18. That's why I have no faith in LMs. I was supposed to have hit 340 yard drive on a LM once... yah right. At least the owner was honest enough to tell me his LM was off.
  19. IF you hit the spot where the mass is located :-)
  20. Its like a fancy restaurant.. keep you waiting till you get so hungry that anything tastes good :-) Hope the bold wont be anti-climatic as I am rather curious about it too.
  21. I continue to love the GS putter! His milling is very different from the "premium zone" milling on the Kitada but for me, the GS just works better. I'll vouch for the high quality finish and the ported design is simply cool. Can't remember what its supposed to help with though. Still not the best feeling putter which is on the firm clickier side for me but it simply works. To counter that firmer feel is what the UST frequency filter shaft does so well. It really enhances feel and feedback for me.
  22. Haven;t seen the Bold in person yet so I can;t comment. The new Epon wedges however.... TALL and HUGE. Not something I look for in wedges.
  23. Will be interested to hear your side by side of the DWDs and the Bolds when you get them.
  24. I have not seen Crazy wedges in person so I can;t comment but the have an even longer hosel than the Miura wedges which I believe is meant to raise CG and hence help lower the ball flight. As for spin, I would agree the DWDs spin very very well especially if you are aggressive and hit down and through.
  25. I would tend to agree. The Ryoma is capable of some very long drives. My comment about it being maybe 10 metres shorter is an "on average" observation. As for hitting the Ryoma off the deck... heck, I just got enough confidence to start hitting 3W off the deck...
