  1. Thanks for chiming in. I have not hit any of their drivers yet so I cant comment and the Ezone MBs only at the range and a few balls but they seemed, for a blade, to be really forgiving. Again, just a few range rocks so really not qualified to comment on playability. Maybe I'll give the SUS304 putter a go as they are really cheap now. Only thing is the sight light is a lot shorter than on the S25C version which I prefer. I have a spare FF shaft lying around anyways.

I'm gonna take hold of probably the best feeling epon head bar none, the Technity 460, from a friend this week to shaft with a current day Crazy shaft of sorts. Should be interesting to see how the pairing of a "yesteryear" head plays with a current day high modulus shaft.
  3. Woohoo, take a few hits into the net when you get your boron shafted Type V. Also, they have been out a while from what I have been told by a friend who just returned from Japan. Can;t wait to hear from you on this!
  4. I am soooooooooo late to the Yonex party it ain;t funny. Anyone noticed the Ezone Putters? The face mill is fantastic and looks like the PZ mill of the famed GF putters. It comes in 2 metals. SUS 304 and S25C. What is the difference between SUS304 and SUS 303? How doe these differ from the S25C. I think the SUS304 putters are heavier. Anyone know their head weights? Are these made for them by Endo as well (like their Ezone Forbed CBs) or the Yururi (?) guys who do their Ezone Forged MBs Pic courtesy of Nobmontana.

Willing to trade for a new graphics TJ-46 6.2 or Regular flex driver length.
  6. It would take something really really special to take the EGG I+ out of my bag.
  7. That would be nice but high CG only for the 7-PW MB irons though. Not sure if high CG will be a good idea for the 3-6I CBs.
  8. Thanks for this feedback blader! Much appreciated.

The Ray H are great which is why I am having great reservations about going ahead with the Yonex Ezone CB/MB combo. The Yonex feels better than Ray H but I am playing with with the Ray H and I'm vey reluctant to mess with that. Same reservations with the Bold. I'm really getting on well with my MT DWD wedges but I am very very curiosu with the Bold, more so than with the T.388. Feel wise, the SX wedge feels very different to the Ray H which I find to a tad more crisp than the SX which is more dense in feel. Are they from the same forgery or different and who please? Thanks.
  10. Thanks for this. Will need to see if there is the 611 on my shores. Seems like you really like it.
  11. Thanks for chiming in Steve. The local Yonex rep just called to offer a LM session after I sounded him out on my interest in the 380 and the CB/MB irons. Wish I had a T.388 to try along side the 380.
  12. WooHoo! Congrats Robb! The odds on anyone not getting on with a correctly shafted 435 is low imo. Continue to play well!

  14. I must say the S-yard bug is slowly starting to bite....
  15. Thanks T. Doesn;t bug me so much whether Ryo played it or not although I'm sure that will be a big endorsement. Design wise, I presume the T.388 is leaps and bounds ahead and the 380 is perhaps a dinosaur compared to the T.388.
  16. I'm looking into Yonex quite seriously now after demoing the Forged CB and MB irons and I am also rather intrigued by the smaller head drivers led by the much talked about (on TSG at least) T.388. I'm wondering how the Yonex 380 stacks up against the T.388. Anyone played both before. I have read that the Yonex 380 which is a 2011 release while feeling solid can be rather demanding and also launches low and spin low. Is there even a comparison to the T.388? If not why? Thanks in advance.
  17. And to reconfirm, you feel the WBQ stiff plays slightly softer than teh LY-02 7.2. Would you say as much as 1/2 flex softer is you had to hazard a guess?
  18. Bend your 52 to 50 and get the 56 and do as suggested... If you like the bold that is... Good to see you well.
  19. I I do get the bolds, in addition to the 60 and 50(I think they have a 50), I'll be getting a 56 to be bent to 54. 54 is probably my most important and used wedge nowadays.
  20. Duff, I'm sure you know this ... Just bend it to 50 or 54 depending on your preference for bounce.

Have a couple of rounds with the SX but have not used it much though. I would say however, that it is more confidence inspiring than the stock RomaRo PW which I could hook with a bad swing. I've always has that issue with stock PWs which leads me to think it definitely a mental thing with the Indian. Feel is softish and this is an accurate enough wedge. Holds greens very well also. Had a birdie today with a gir approach on a par 4 with the SX. Can't be too bad can it. :-)
  22. Dammit! You playin the same flex in the wbq as with your ly02?
  23. Dude, you drinkin and golfing? :-)
  24. If feel and sound are not important, maybe te new Yammy. Tried it at a demo yesterday with the GD GT shaft. Feel and sound not the best but it went ok. Don;t know if its longer than the Ryoma or Crazy (which model?) though.
