  1. The rd is an absolute noodle compared to the Tj and more so the cb. If you are playing s in Tj or cb, you have to get at least x in rd. nice ego booster lol. The rd is long but dispersion is bad. My experience however is with the first gen rd and I have not hit the new gen rd.
  2. Oh as for your change to a smoother swing, my belief is that if its te right swing, there is only 1 swing and you should not have 2 swings, one for irons and the other for woods. THe same swing if working should work for both. Ball positions will be different but not swing.
  3. Hi, I play both with the TJ46 in the Ryoma D1 and 435 and the CB46 in the Epon Techinity 460. Why? The D1 and 435 are lower launching and much lower spinning heads for me than the Technity 460. I think that is why the lower kicking TJ46 is better for these 2 heads. THe CB 46 which for me, lauches and spins slightly lower and less than the TJ46 is almost perfect for the higher launching and spinning Epon head. I have tried the CB46 in the Type D and while ok, if I am not swinging well, I do not generate enough spin and hence a distance loss. The CB46 is more demanding in that way o the TJ 46. Feel wise, the CB46 feels as good as the TJ46 to me. For your questions.. Is CB46 a better control shaft than the TJ46? For me YES but also slightly shorter. Is your 3W to stiff? A tad hard to say without knowing what you are finding trouble with each club but is a tad odd to me that you have flexes form SR to XS in them.
  4. I think CB Tour has replaced CB50 but with slightly more torque for feel. Control is still the main proposition.
  5. Nice Bag you have!

It's really individual shaft depedent form my experience. For Crazy and Quadra however, I have found the most consistency from shaft to shaft in that they are very very close to logo up/down.
  7. I don't think the cb50 is an 80T shaft as well. Do you feel 80T gives you better drives?
  8. Great and humorous review again Craig. I have not played this or the 435II though. The TJ46 I would have thought would suit you. It's stil my favorite Crazy shaft for driver.
  9. Still looking
  10. Not the same I don;t think but I play the NW110 and Nw120 wedge shafts and they are great feeling shafts. Performance for all kind of wedge s**ts be it full, half, bumps and bunker are great as well. If you want them in black, they come in the DCR finish as well.
  11. Forgot to mention.... Black head only pls Thanks
  12. Looking for a 56* Three Luck Sky Dream Jump Pr Groove TB D-Tour Wedge right hand. Head only much preferred. Thanks.

Very nice my friend! Took a while to assemble but very worth it I'm sure. Congrats!
  14. A great great review and writeup T! Very well done! "If you own a original D-1 should you get the Maxima? If you want more distance and even more forgiveness it would be silly not to at least consider it though I am pretty sure many will "upgrade"." To answer your question, I would say a big YES! The Type D is consistently longer for me than my D1. I'm looking to shaft my Type D with a TJ46 which will allow me to really see just how much better this head is over the D1. My Black Widow 435 is my longest driver on average but I the D has already matched the 435 and maybe went past but a few meters or so on several occasions. ALl this with the Roddio M:6 which I do not rate as being a better shaft than the TJ46 for me. Thanks again for the time and effort for this reference review of the Maxima, one which I am sure other sites will towards and be envious of!
  15. I can't remember but I think it's 105. I have seen a face cracked st from someone with a slower swing speed. With your swing speed, I would not. Your call of course. Good luck.
  16. I would but it won't not be of use in your case as your ss and mine are almost polar opposites and what I have tried and works for me will be noodles in your hands. FYI.. La Bomba is just the makerting name for the white color scheme of whatever shafts. No difference in specs so a Crazy Black 80 will have exactly the same specs as the La Bomba Black 80 which is painted white.
  17. And stock head weight sans weight kit.
  18. Anyone have a set of these irons they are looking to get rid of?
  19. Just THIS particular Crazy model for me. The TJ46 for me provides a lot of feedback.
  20. Got my head from Blader X and immediately put in the CB46. I'm not sure if there were differently colored heads for this but my friend's Techity has a dark Blue sheen hue to it while the one got from Blader is Black. In any case, will be taking her on the course next week and have only had 2 range sessions with Crazy Titan and even with range rocks, she is lovely to hit. I think she is longer than D1 but not as long as 435. Seems like a good compromise between distance and control though as she is more forgiving dispersion wise than 435. Looks like Okamoto, Black Widow and Crazy Titan will form the foundation for my drivers moving forward. I'm glad I brought back a legend!
  21. Hi, The list prices are on Ryoma's website.
  22. PLayed a charity tourney on Tuesday with this. I was swinging really well and dont think I missed any fairways. Was hitting long (by my standards) and really straight. I didn't have any birdies but lots of bogies so no way I could have won that stable ford. I was considering taking the TJ46 in this and putting it in my Maxima. After that game, there is no way I am touching this combo! Great great safety driver that is not long but not short either!
  23. Im surprised to see the 388 at number 6 for YOU Craig given your review of it. And I'm glad I'm t the only one who "can also hit it less than 200, depending on the bounce off trees or where the water is." Can't wait to see what your top 5 is, one of them being the 435 and that definitely does not catch me by surprise.
