heard Jack once say that a cure is to set up to a ball in your normal stance and put another ball 4 inches inside (closer to your body). Take your normal takeaway but hit the ball that is 4 inches closer. If you practice that for a while i don't think it would be possible to ever sh__k another ball again. matt
  7. I hope Chris doesn't allow these type of threads to continue.
  8. i'll take them if you still have them. you got any s-400's lying around the shop to throw in them???
  9. make sure you are clearing your hips, otherwise your torso will cause your hands to be too far away from your body at impact causing the shanks (i dont even like typing that word)
  10. if you use some of the skins for the website like i do, you wont be able to see the rating system. just go to your profile and take the skin off and they will appear.
  11. the black mizuno's aren't teflon, they are more like a 3x black finish. matt
  12. :-) :mizuno:
  13. actual hybrids for the long irons, no 3 or 4 iron, not sure about the 5 yet. thanks matt
  14. I'm looking to buy my dad a set of hybrid irons, any suggestions??? He is a good golfer and doesn't want shovels for the short irons, hopefully something forged so he can adjust lie angles. Hogans or Taylormades or imports, any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks guys. matt
  15. unless i am mistaken, you can get just about any of the mizuno models in 4 different finishes: shiny chrome, satin chrome, shiny black, and flat black. custom stampings are shown in some other posts, just run a search.
  16. i didn't notice how much the black affected feel until i hit a few balls with my old mp29's and they felt like rocks comparatively. if you get the black mizunos, be prepared to talk about them to every person at every tournament you play in. not such a bad problem though.
  17. i believe there are two black finishes, flat or shiny, anything else, ask chris. matt
  18. specs can be adjusted to whatever you like, swingweights even came out perfect on all irons. they are not as much money as you might think. i cannot thank chris enough. matt
  19. thanks man, hopefully transactions like ours can be the norm here at TSG. matt
  20. ive got a tournament this weekend and will take some pics in the morning outside. thanks for all of the responses. matt
  21. got them from chris (tourspecgolfer), had four birdies in my first and only round with them so far(which is pretty good for me.) it was actually kind of difficult to hit that first ball with them, i just wanted to hang them on my wall. matt
  22. my new irons - flat black custom stamped mp32's (thanks chris) hope that worked
