  1. I saw that in Golf World a few weeks ago and was surprised that she's using the Hammy putter. She must have some awful putting woes.
  2. It's real. The buyer got it authenticated with Scotty prior to the bidding. It's practically one of a kind.
  3. Yes only 5 because any more would cause too much spin or damage to the ball. The Bounce is 8* on the 52 & 53. Its 10* on the 56 & 58 degree wedges. Is there such thing as too much spin? :smile2: I like throwing darts at pins! Damn....that 52-08 is tempting . I must repeat 200 times tonight....I love my Zodia...I love my Zodia!
  4. I was thinking Red X too....but this one looks a whole lot better and if the grooves and milling work like the one on the Balde, that's going to be a spectacular putter. Bull, Just Imagine all of the putters have the same feel as the Balde. Same face marks same steel, same soft sensation. Everything from the Forged CNC series is consistant. Chris...STOP...you're killing me! I swear since I got the Balde...I'm convinced! Gauge JAPAN makes one heck of a putter. But I don't want them to be like my Porsche ..aka...black hole in the wallet sucking out all my money! :smile2:

  6. Chris, am I reading and seeing correctly :surprize: only "five grooves were CNC milled". Why didn't they just do the whole face? And finally.....ugggghhhh....how much? :smile2: and what's the bounce angles on the wedges?
  7. Ed, maybe this will help you out. A few comparison photos with the Gauge Balde & some others. Gauge & Cameron Mil Spec Gauge & Cameron Newport Two Gauge & Cameron Mid Slant Gauge & Yes Callie Gauge & Ping Jas Anser

I'll try and get some pictures of the soles this weekend. I can tell you the only blank ones I have are the AP30R/Arnold Palmer putters. They only have AP30R and Arnold Palmer on the hosel. I found one of my old one's on Ebay for $10.00.

If it's lead tape......is he trying to counteract his fade with the tape set for a draw bias?? hmmmmmmmm?

It's easy......I'm a putter "HO". I love putters! Just look at my blade collection. I just added my new "favorite" putter the Gauge Japan Balde. Thank's Chris! OH...and Mr Zodia..excellent observation skills! ....nope..just my Dad.
  12. I still haven't finished my taxes......hopefully I won't have to sell some clubs to pay the tax-man! :wah:
  13. I kept thinking about this putter and I thought I did see some of the large fonts before on Scotty's webpage. Here's a few I found Classic X/A000077 Made for Kenny Perry/ A000096 Catalina/A000113
  14. Oiamsobuff would know a heckuva lot more about these then me, but that face stamping looks a little questionable. The font size looks to be a little large. I wouldn't pay too much for it. There are a lot of other collectible Camerons in the $400 price range that you can find and be sure on their authenticity. If there is no rush on purchasing it, I'd send the pictures to Scotty to see if he can verify it or if the seller doesn't mind, send the whole putter in for an authenticity certificate. Who know's....you might be sitting on a goldmine. Good luck!

I use the gel paint remover I found at Home Depot. I apply it conservatively with a toothbrush being careful not to splatter it all over. Usually within a couple of minutes the paint is bubbling out. Then again with the toothbrush I gently agitate the paint and paint remover till it's all out. I use a dental pick to take out any leftover paint in the crevices.

  18. Steve.......love the bag! Bro...I can't get enough of looking at your putters! I've got to stop looking before I start getting in a buying mood again! :smile2: Aloha, Reid
  19. Thats what I initially thought it was...the Kirk Currie, but the C Grooves are definitely there. Who knows...maybe he had Yes add them to the face.
  20. These photos were taken Feb. 19, 2005 at the Malaysian Open. Looks like C Grooves on the face but the putter doesn't look like anything they have on the Yes Golf Website. Maybe it's a proto??
  21. I just talked to the rep last week about this one but never seen it in person. In fact, this is the 1st time i've seen it from your lovely picture.Joe  ps: Glad you still love the club from Duke, Duke is beating his head on the table as i wrote this reply. :D :-D :smile1:  Yup...I'm the only one I've seen with this shaft too! And I hope Duke doesn't beat his head too much! :smile2:
  22. I don't know about the "El Nino", but I believe this shaft is rare. Maybe Joey or some other clubfitters know about it and can chime in some info about it. It's the Prototype Aldila Cinnamon. It's an extremely low torque shaft (1.8*0 for it's weight and is a low kick/soft tip shaft. The frequency of the shaft is the same as the NV but the tip is slightly softer then the NVS. I've heard that it will never be produced for the public because the material they use to make it such a low torque shaft for it's weight is too expensive for mass production. Thus making this an extremely rare and hard to find shaft PS...JOE K....I still am in love with the V-Steel you made! :smile2: Thanks to Bruinduke for selling it to me!
  23. thats always a possibility! PM sent.:smile2:
  24. thanks Joe....that putters been on my watch list since it got posted.
  25. Long time reader...figured I finally had something to share. Royal Collection Team Pro Forged Irons. :smile2: I was lucky to come upon a few of these sets. I had thought they were only available in Japan, but after talking to a few friends, found some. I haven't had the chance to hit them yet, and I'm not sure I even want to. They look too nice to use with my hacking swing! :wah: Anyways....nice thin toplines, classic looking muscle backs, narrow soles and small heads. The finish is superb. Actually some of the nicest looking blades that I have seen in a long time. Here's some pictures and you guys can decide for yourselves how you like them!
