Those tourstage wedges....only used them on the range today but what a great feel set of wedges. Ever know when something just feels right??
  3. These are JDM??
  4. Nice to hear its more durable than the ProV's...I go through about 2-3 prov's per round. These things love to shred especially with the likes of a chikara wedge.
  5. Major nightmare for my family and I with an emergency evacuation of my Dad who was suffering major complications in the middle of the storm. I actually went into downtown NYC which was like the wild wild west and rescued him due to the fact that ambulances in NYC were running 5-6 hours late. Then mother had to be rescued by FDNY from an 8th floor building, then nephew with torn spleen and finally sister with a tree that fell on her car and totaled it. All throughout had to deal with no heat, no power, no gas, etc. Never thought I would, but time to invest in a natural gas generator...cost a ton (think 4-5 iron sets;) but with all the recent storms, probably a decent investment. I have a 6000 portable jobie but guess what?...requires gas to run and no gas to be had or wait in line for 3 hours. Got all the conversion gear and 12V motorcycle battery to convert to propane but by that time we were back up. A tough week for sure...just trying to get back to some degree of normalcy.

I'm hoping the tourstage that stew just sent me:) Zodia wedges used to be all the rage some years ago...talk about a ball shredder! Not easy to play but complete spin monsters. Most fun for me were the chikaras...also crazy spin and cool looking wedges. Can't say they were point and shoot...for me that was/is my TM ATV's. Not all that sexy, just stupid easy to play in bunkers, chips, tricky pitches, etc.
  7. It's just Iike drivers...one man's ceiling is another man's floor
  8. Every time I try something new, I always go back to the Pro V's. Like it or not, they're still the best ball out there and number one for many years in the US.

How much for the Winnie the Pooh Art Puzzle?
  10. We have "played" together...velvety smooth, like butter.
  11. "Like a stick of butter covered in lotion sitting on a velour pillow on a Tempurpedic mattress" Best line of the week!
  12. You have very soft balls;)
  13. I like the jungle motif! Jay: perhaps try that;)
  14. I think a free sleeve of the new epon balls is in order for all TSG members with more than 100 posts...what say the rest of you;)
  15. Uhm..wait, there's a combination that Stew has not hit as of yet? Blasphemous!!
  16. Sexy irons but very unfair to have that quality of pics...makes our BST ads look like complete crap:)

There are more great deals in BST than I've seen in a long time....and a bunch within his price range. Fishing expedition?

Why are you playing an 8.5 driver if you're having problems with accuracy? Get yourself a nice forgiving JDM head with AT LEAST 10 degrees of loft. You'll be hitting more fairways than you could ever imagine.
  19. Yes, and a Mclaren F1 is just a car!
  20. Something under $200?? Hmmm That being said, I do think its pretty deep and a bit freaky that a guy dug up a thread from 2005 and his interest is about a 2005 driver. Kinda spooky sh*t on Halloween night!
  21. NO WAY you will balloon the ball with that setup and if anyone tells you otherwise, they don't have a clue. That setup is almost my exact setup...502's with aerotech 95's and in my view, it's as good as it gets. My iron play became the strongest part of my game and in this case it was truly the arrow not the Indian. Not the longest, just the most deadly accurate. If you're into accuracy with your irons, they will serve you well.
  22. My big question same as xero's...how do they compare to the gold standard, pro v1? Also how much to ship to US?
  23. Great seller here
  24. "The Japanese heads definitely will feel muted and soft at first coming from TM...almost off putting at first but after a few rounds you won't want to go back" That's what turned me off to some of the JDM drivers. I'm probably in the minority here, but I love to hear a nice big CRACK when I hit the ball. First couple times I hit the ryoma, I thought I had missed the ball entirely with that dull thud sound. Had a Nike Sasquatch for many years and has the most obnoxious tin can sound each time I hit the ball. In some cases the ball went only 220, but sounded like 350!!
