The worst was Bombsquad Golf who would love to ban people almost at random. I got banned once because I questioned why they went with a certain web design and had what I thought was a respectful back and forth with the owners. Then, without warning, the goofy moderators ban me for one month saying that I was being disruptive. I was actually in shock especially after I had just spent about $3000 on new gear from them. This would be like me questioning a policy or a refund at Bloomingdales and then being banned from shopping there again. BSG's Gestapo tactics led me to never again visit the site (which is now, not surprisingly in the toilet) and never to spend a penny with them ever again. I'm actually a moderator on a P90X board and we have to be pushed pretty hard to ban someone. Just like the real world, we try very hard to be tolerant of all sorts of personalities.

I wish the Ryoma/crazy combo would have worked for me but in my case I was hitting a bunch of snap hooks which is something I've never had an issue w before. I believe I made a wrong shaft choice vs any specific issue w the Ryoma head...I kinda did some guess work on which shaft would work based on the Crazy website and other input. The strange thing for me was that the shaft was a heavier shaft for me than I normally game, so thought worse case I would struggle to turn it over and be hitting it right...turns out I kept hitting duck hooks which made no sense to me. I think for those of us in the US (and perhaps others as well?), its still a bit of a mystery to get fitted properly via a website and requires a bit of guesswork which may result in some rather costly mistakes.

Hey Pete: on the on/off bag, what's the weight of the bag? My club is mainly caddies carrying bags and many of the JDM bags that claim to be "caddie bags" are anything but! Thanks

C'mon gents!! Seems like we've started some sort of religious war here for no apparent reason and I'd personally hate to see this thread or this forum in general go the way of some of the other forums out there with a lot of mudslinging and name calling. In the end, it's all about our collective passion for golf gear that we share, so let's all be a bit more respectful and open about differing viewpoints.

One of the best putters I have ever owned. Still have mine and keep threatening to sell but will put up for sale soon due to my Edel purchase. This sucker has wonderful weight to it and while the head is small, it sets up perfectly and VERY soft.

Neither! I would (and did!) go for the MB SLS. Best car I've EVER owned and way cool with gullwing doors. Car is a rocketship and I can use it just about year round so never going to be a garage queen. I use it as my daily driver and fits two sets of clubs. This is also Jeremy Clark of Top Gear's favorite car and his own personal car...this is a guy who's got access to every high end exotic out there, so that says something.

At best you will get another 5 yards or so with a different 3 wood. Not really worth it. With no disrespect intended, as an 8 handicap, you should be able to hit a driver with some degree of accuracy and would probably drop from an 8 to a 5 or 6 overnight if you found the "right" driver. If you hit your 3 wood 240, you should be hitting a driver 280-300 (easily!), getting onto par 5's in two vs three, hitting wedges into greens vs 8 irons, etc....net, net, lower scores. I would suggest a driver fitting at this stage vs trying to eek out another couple yards with the 3 wood. You need to tame the beast!!

+1 to that. I just don't get the doggie connection to golf...it would be like having a picture of a golf club on a bag of dog food or as the logo for the American Kennel Club. More on Spuds...err I'm mean the Epon mascot!

Those are my wedges...they are simply amazing and absolute spinning machines. I have never been able to back up a ball like I can with the Chikaras. Playing partners think I'm some terrific wedge player, but it really is this wedge! Get em, because new, if you can find em are a WHOLE lotta coin.

The dog kills it for me as well.
