- 2012 Yamaha Tour Irons - Arrived
Luck dog (LOL). I am still waiting for mine, no delivery date yet as apparently they are short on the Modus shaft. I am assuming that the clubs are assembled at Yamaha's facilities rather than Epon, would that be correct?- SOLD
Certainly is not a soft shaft. It works better for me than the Quadra Fire Express did in my Kamui head.- SOLD
It makes sense to me.......thanks- SOLD
That sounds right..........thanks- SOLD
Sorry, I don't have that information.......I assume it is a "standard" weight for this head. I think most are built at 46 inches or more.- SOLD
Ryoma D-1 Premia (conforming), 10.5 degree loft, 46.25 inches in length, Fujikura Rombax 7V05 shaft marked R flex. This is the shaft that was used by winners of both the Masters and the US Open this year and is currently no loger offered by Fujikura. New Decade grip (black/white). Ryoma headcover. The club is without blemish save for a tiny chip near the bottom of the hosel. I've had fun with it but will use the $$ to "diversify" my club collection! SOLD- SOLD
Interested! Can you tell me more specifically about the shaft? What"s your swingspeed and tempo? Thanks Leonard- Ryoma Fairway's? Anyone get them yet care to share reviews?
This thread would be a hell of a lot more interesting with some PHOTOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!- PRGR REP
Great post. Can the unit be used for irons as well as woods?- Ryoma Fairway's? Anyone get them yet care to share reviews?
Could you please post some photos of your club? I have not seen a single actual photo of this head anywhere, I don't believe. Thanks!- Yamaha 2012 Products Launch Thread
If Stew was the last order then mine must have been next to last! Glad I didn't dally around any longer debating the tour vs non-tour version. Just about missed the window. Mine are coming with the Nippon Modus 3 shaft, set makeup 5-PW plus 52 and 56 degree wedges. Can't wait.- FS Brand new 2006 Fourteen 770TC, 3-pw, Nippon 950S

Chris, sent question yesterday evening by PM. Also had sent (via email) question to Tario regarding availability (still available?) of Tourstage Ltd edition CB irons, but did not receive a response. Thanks.- Dance with Dragon driver cover
I have a basically new Japan market headcover by the always popular Japanese accessory company "Dance with Dragon". This is a high quality premium cover which has a magnetic closure and extends well down the shaft for maximum protection. This cover sells for $80 (yes, $80) if ordered from Japan, plus shipping. Will sell for $60 shipped. No trades....- Kia Ma Daytona Japan only model
Kia Ma Daytona TP putter, 34 inches in length, stock grip and headcover. The putter is PRISTINE. It has no face insert, just a nice milled face. The TaylorMade Rossa TP Daytona putter features a blade style putter head constructed of milled 1020 Carbon Steel with a full shaft offset. Tour Preferred (TP) line has shape, size and width that better players prefer. Custom Tungsten weight inserts in the cavity back for deeper and lower Center of Gravity (CG) and crisper feel. Precision milling results in a finely tuned putting instrument. A rich midnight black finish for a sleek and alluring look. A putter design by Kia Ma originally only reserved for the Tour available for the putter purists and sold only in the Japan market. $195 shipped- TourStage 2011 905 Limited Edition Blade
Chris, nice looking irons. Very tempting.........- They're Here! Yonex 380cc Ryo Edition!
Chris, do you have a 10 degree with a reasonably square face? I'm very tempted to give this a go.- Review on Yururi flat black stin with ns pro 1150 tour x flex
Yeah, I'll believe that 130mph swing speed when I see it on video live with a launch monitor!!- Ryoma Demo Club - Feedback Forum
I received the demo today, and despite persistent rain showers got it out on the range and on the course. During my demo, I hit approximately 50 balls at the range using my Cobra (Accusport) launch monitor and comparing it against my current gamer, a TaylorMade Superdeep with a Quadra Fire Express shaft. I also played a few holes, mainly hitting drivers off some holes to see if the ball landed in any new and unfamiliar places downrange (lol). Temps were somewhere around 49 degrees. Looks - like the first poster, I enjoy the shape of the Ryoma from address. Ditto his other comments exactly <For a club design that is so evolved, I expected to see something crazy. Nope not really. Top view was pleasant, unremarkable and nothing crazy as expected. The sole of the club is different. Not disturbing or weird, juts different. I glanced at it and moved onto more important issues. The Vspec is all black. The first all black club I have played. Cool. The alignment appeared square as advertised.> Feel - I was honestly extremely impressed with the feel of this club. As good or better than any other driver I've owned, which includes quite a few both domestic and JDM, including several Epons, Mizunos, Kamui, etc. The head feels solid. I found feel one of its strong points. Sound - Quite a contrast to the Superdeep, which honestly is so loud it hurts my ears sometimes. Certainly not tinny or loud. Performance - The launch monitor didn't really show all that much difference in the numbers, although my launch angle was better on the monitor and I did bomb one way long (for me) according to the monitor. On course though, I thought the ballflight was lower than normal for me. Contrary to the launch monitor results, I did find myself in some places, particularly on longer holes, that I had never been before. So I fiind the distance claims to be believable, particularly on well struck balls. On mis**ts, I didn't end up too far from the solid hits. I tended to hit a fade when I "missed" it and a straight ball when hit well. I normally hit a little draw when hitting it well. In general, so far I think this club does as they advertise. For me it did not launch higher than other clubs with the same loft; rather, it seemed lower to me. But spin appears reasonable. In my case, I think the shaft is a pretty good fit (mid 90's swingspeed, smooth tempo). Playing a full round with it tomorrow and will provide further feedback.- Taylormade 2008 TP forged irons, 4-PW
Honestly, all I know about them is what you see I've posted in the ad. I like 'em though. Certainly don't feel like a "regular" to me, nice and firm.- Taylormade 2008 TP forged irons, 4-PW
Awwww, what's one more set? You can never have too many pretty things! At least that's always been my motto, and Chris can attest to that based on my long history of buying goodies from this site!- Ryoma Demo Club - Feedback Forum
