You first. I'll also give a hint. It will play from 35 inches...have a steel shaft and probably weight in the 300+ gram range. Should be in the area of 4° loft :laugh: Al , mine is already in my sig . A 9.5 R510 TP Tour :love: . Has a NV 75 S shafts tipped 3/4" . So will take a guess that you might be getting a Red X ???

The 660 is gone ?????????? The magic shaft ? The holy grail of shafts ? Please tell me what you got. That is so funny I was thinking of trying something else. It will have a NV 75s tipped 3/4" and it will play 45" . And if it does work out am not getting rid of the 500 , no way , not going to happen . It will become my backup driver with the 660 still in it . Now all I will need to do is get rid of the 660 X :whistle: And then we will see what Santa bring for Mikey :laugh: Send me the 660 X instead of the two sleeves of PV1's :laugh: I will say this the NV for me was more accurate than the 660. But I think I have a swing glitch as I am snapping it. I had four great drives in a row yesterday and then fell apart. I plan to paly a few rounds in the next 7 days and that will finalize the decision for my driver and the Z101's. :money: Let me think about that for a sec . For me it is the R500 . But just like any other driver if you don't put a good swing on it then you don't get a straight shot .

Yeah I think it is just a summer thing . Wait till winter comes back and people will be on here 24 hours a day getting there fix . Al , the TX Tours you say you hit them high ?? How high compared to your 300's and shafts in them . I was a low ball hitter and in my Z's have the PX hit them real high for me . So I think it is more the head and not the shaft . No way am I getting a R7 at the price of them now . Have a great driver in the 500 and am plenty long enough with it for me .

I would also like to hear what people have to say about these shafts . But am going to take a wild guess :laugh: and say nobody here has tried them yet :smile1:

Thanks Al . It's good to hear that the hand , wrist is feeling better . Am hoping that something good happens this weekend with my game . It has to come around sooner than later I hope . Got the Club Champ next weekend , and I don't want to be playing this bad for that . If I am , guess it will be time to take a long break and take some lessons or even go to a week long golf school :sad:

TX Tours are stepped. Rifles have their steps inside going lengthwise. Really :-D :surprize: I was told that they were like rifle shafts . I would have to take a guess and say that was bad info :-) :laugh: Don't know what to try now , will have to call Joe and get his take on this . I could be wrong. My TX Tours are still 3 days away. I was presuming they will be similar to TX 90s with a different step pattern to lower trajectory. TX 90s have very few and very light steps. Regarding Nippons. I would say if you like Rifles you will like Nippons. If you prefer DGs (like me) you won't like Nippons. Well then since i don't like the DG's maybe the Nippons will be okay . But before I go any further and talking to Joe as I said in my last post . Am using Project X 6.0 now and I just find the overall weight and the SW are just too heavy. Don't know if it is just me or the clubs :-D IMHO I find the PXs to play more like smoother and lighter DGs than Regular Rifles. NS Pro 950GHs will be closer to regular Rifles. The PXs are the only rifles I hav come close to liking......Swap.... I have two sets of NS Pros (GH and WF) plus a few FW wood NS Pro 95s. Well seeing as how I find the PX to be harsher than the regular rifles at least in the 6.0's might have to give the Nippons a try . One thing I keep forgetting about is that I also play my clubs 1/2" over length so that could be a reason for the harshness I find with the PX . Either that or it is just my imagination getting the best of me :smile1:
