TX Tours are stepped. Rifles have their steps inside going lengthwise. Really :-D :surprize: I was told that they were like rifle shafts . I would have to take a guess and say that was bad info :-) :laugh: Don't know what to try now , will have to call Joe and get his take on this . I could be wrong. My TX Tours are still 3 days away. I was presuming they will be similar to TX 90s with a different step pattern to lower trajectory. TX 90s have very few and very light steps. Regarding Nippons. I would say if you like Rifles you will like Nippons. If you prefer DGs (like me) you won't like Nippons. Well then since i don't like the DG's maybe the Nippons will be okay . But before I go any further and talking to Joe as I said in my last post . Am using Project X 6.0 now and I just find the overall weight and the SW are just too heavy. Don't know if it is just me or the clubs :-D

Oh well :sad: I hate stepped shafts . Guess it's back to the old drawing board as they say . Maybe will give the TX Tours a try instead .

Well it finally happened today . Took a long time , since March but I finally chipped in with my 57* scratch wedge :love: For birdie yet to and it won me the hole . :smile1: Won't get into the rest of the game , so will just say it sucked big time . Since July of 03 have gone from a index of .9 to as of today a 5.4 and climbing . This keeps up I won't even get into the big boys flight of my Club Championship :sad:

Not a bad price if that includes shipping . But back to my question , are these shafts stepless like rifle shafts or do they have step's like TT DG.?? Mike

Yes where can one pick up a set of these shafts .?? Also the pic's on there web site are not very good , are they like rifle shafts no step's or do they have step's as in a DG ?? Mike

Guy's I have come to the realization that who ever invented this game should be SHOT and PISSED ON :-) :-) :-) Played 3 of the last 4 days , and I don't think I have played this bad since I took the game up in 1989 . Rounds of 86 , 82 and 86 :surprize: :sad: Am almost at the point where if my game doesn't come around soon , I chuck everything and take up something else , like fishing and or even bowling :bulls**t: :-D Only thing is I know if I do get rid of all my clubs in 3 months I would have to buy new stuff as the bug would bite once again and then I'll really be f**ked :laugh:

If you use the 62 only for flop shots and from the sand , what do you do when you have a 60 - 70 yard shot from the fairway . Grip down on the 56 ??

Well guys I never thought I would say this , but after a real smooth 85 today the Z 101's and Scratch wedge's are in the dog house . Am just having a real rough time getting use to the sole and the bounce on Z's and am changing the wedge's just to have something different to look at. Plus am not all that convinced the the PX shafts are the one's I should be using . Sure I have played some pretty good games with them both , but am just not consistent enough with them . So for the time being into the closet they go , and out come the 690.MB's and the chrome Vokey wedge's I have :sad: If they start to work real well for me the 690.MB's , keep an eye out in the b/s/t . There won't be a fire sale but maybe some good bargins will be out there . :whistle: :money: :laugh:

I wish that was the case . But just went up north for a week and now am feeling much better . Hopefully that will be the end of the summer :) and I can ger back to some golf . I think I have played 5 rounds since June 17th and I am going to be so rusty tomorrow that I'm not evn gonna keep score .

Feeling pretty good now , just a little lacking in energy ( any wisecracks about that and :punch: :-) ) . But I am feeling stronger everyday now so maybe next week will be back to normal :laugh: Al have been to New Orleans . Aug 98 , f**k was it ever hot but that made the beer all that much better . You hate dial up , now you know what I put up with when I am at home trying to do some stuff . I have to use it all the time and boy does it ever suck :mad:
