  1. pete , will have to forward mine to you or Al . I have no way of putting them in a post nor do I have a hosting service . It is the one thing I've found that you are not able to do with a Mac . Put a pix in a post . :(
  2. That's true had forgot about that . And at the beginning of the week I was in second :(

Other than the lack of the right click at impact how did the URX fair otherwise. Distance with driver and irons, trajectory and that kinda stuff. With the driver was hard to tell . Ball would hit the fairway and stop dead on most of the holes . Irons about the same distance , but right now hard to tell as I think the high today was 12* . Trajectory was actually lower for me than a Pro V1 . As to spin was kind of hard to tell , I don't believe I spin this ball as much on the short irons and wedge's . As the ball was releasing on me . Now if this ball will stand up after I get my scratch wedge's and use during the summer , it will have some potential to replace the Pro V1 . But if I can't get at least 27 holes out of one ball then I would have to say no you will not find it in my bag . Will be able to tell you more after I come back from Vegas .
  4. Yeah gaining on pete :D And I'm not that far out of second either :)

Yes your right the AD333 . I hope it is better down south as ot will be $49 before taxes out here . While the pro V's are around $70 with taxes . THat would be a savings of around $13 bucks a dzn .
  6. Guy's got to try the Srixon URX today . Have posted a mini review on it in the Srixon thread in the Tour and Import section .
  7. If you were to follow the link provided you will get an idea on some of the course's that are available to play on Vancouver Island . The only bad part is the links provided at this site for my course and the course I played today don't work . The course I played today is the second course listed and my course is the 7th course on the list . Take a look just to see why I have a very hard time leaving this place to play any golf elsewhere . :D http://www.worldgolf.com/courses/canada/bc...c/datavisl.html
  8. Am I the only one that see's the irony in the above statement  Minimal, we can def get out on the course when you make it out here. Everybody down here has an open invite. Mike, great to see you made it back. The new av is a big improvement :P :P :P Thanks and I have ton's more just waiting to make the big time :P :P

Got to try a URX today used it for 18 holes . Let just say that today this ball did not leave a good impression on me . Granted the fairways are still damp on the west coast and the greens were not the fastest I have ever played on , but there was something missing when I put on a good swing and made solid contact . Maybe it is the lack of a click off the driver or irons but I just can't put my finger on what was missing . Plus I found this ball to be a lot softer off the putter face than I expected . I found it softer than a Pro V1 . I will continue the experiment with this ball down south where I'm sure the warmer weather will give it a little more pop and maybe then the click will be there . Had to come back to add this . The person who gave me the ball to try also used one . After 14 holes his looked like Swiss Cheese . But he also does the same thing with Pro V1's & X's . So if you put a lot of spin on a ball with your irons , this ball might not be what you are looking for . haribo , there was a guy in my foursome who was in AZ a couple of weeks ago . He was using the new ball today . It is called a ED 333 . If I'm not mistaken. The 333 stands for the amount of dimpels as this ball has a odd number of them . For what purpose I have no idea .
  10. I do have a Gauge  Just need to pick it up down south on Friday :D Just don't die before you can give us a review :)

Well I hope I can pick some up to try either in the San Fran area or in Vegas baby 8)
  12. I sort of have the same problem at times with my swing . Get too fast . On the backswing . So what I try to do is picture it as if I'm doing it in slow motion and then I can get it slowed down and it also stays short of parallel . Good luck on selling your putter Al . If it was center shafted I would be taking a good long look at it .

Agreed , for me that would be at least 2 dzn extra balls a year for the amount of games I play in a a year . And if they don't shred to bad can always use the old ones for the winter months !! That is my biggest fear of these balls . I can pretty well get 27 holes out of a Pro V1 , then it goes in the shag bag . If these are even close to that then I can see me making the change .

You lucky dog you :) Great price , how do you like them ?
  15. Sorry to hear Al . But the next time you play it will be better . Just don't get to down on yourself. I do wish I had thought about posting something like this myself , but it would have been how to turn a 70 into a 75 . :(

$45 in TO haribo means about $50 here , still that is a pretty good price . If they get here before the season starts :) Now if I like them and I can play them I just might have a new ball to play this year :D
  17. Five days till I leave for my fix :D I think I might have to pull out the old siutcase this weekend and take a look at it . Might be getting old and need a new one . But on second thought will wait till Wed night to do it
  18. Picky , Picky , Picky . :) Okay you win , but don't come running to me asking for a bigger picture
  19. bookin_4_nub , what you say has made a lot of sense . So if he is not already a business member then what the hell has he been doing . This person you are referring to is either not on the ball or has never read any of the fine print that paypal has . As to why have no idea , but from reading your post it does seem that he is trying to justify his higher costs to his members and the sad part about it is they will probably believe him and not say a word . I'm not even going to try and guess who this person is and I don't want to know either , it just seems a bit strange that he would actually post this in his own forum for his members to read .
  20. Guy's I'm fine , just need to sort some things out . As the Governor fo California has been know to say " I'll be back " Mike :)
  21. I'm done gentleman . Enjoy yorself on this board . chainsaw , see you in a little over a week . AK , has been a slice . Mike

  23. I knew who you meant. There's a greater than 0 that I'd let that happen to me. Nor me .
  24. From the way things look around here there's a 0% chance I'd let that happen. I'd be all set for a nice little honey and Pat the he/she dominatrix clad in spiked leather would walk in. No No not for you . Did you think I meant you chainsaw . I was talking about pete . I would have to make sure I had my camera at the ready for the he/she dominatrix show .
