Corky , no way I'm giving up on the 500 yet . Getting a 660TR installed by Joe in just over a week . From all the research and readind's I've done on that shaft , it looks like it will be a damn near perfect fit for me . Don't have a soft-tip swing as I can get pretty violent on the downswing :lol: If the tip is to soft , you know where that ball is going . FORE LEFT :( Will let you know how I like the shaft after palying with it for awhile , cause when I leave Joe's am off to Vegas for a week of golf and sun :D

Sounds like a late summer trip. I'd like to go back east where the courses have trees! It's been so long since I've played a course that wasn't a desert layout I think I may have forgotten what a tree lined fairway looks like. I could bring you down a tree or two if you want . Have way to many on my course . I think I have found most of them at one time or another :lol:

All I could say is if we do SW Michigan lets do it the weekend after Labor day plus a couple of days - rates fall to nothing, for lodging and golf. Weather is the best - and if you want you have enough day light to go 36. :D :D Lastly - if we have a fourseome and you want to spend the $$ I think I can get us on the Dunes Course, New Buffalo - (Mr. Kaiser's first creation) see Bandon dunes. Unfortunatly that would be a very bad time for me :( Have way too much already on the plate on and after Labor day weekend . Would have to pick another time of the year , but then it might not be good for everybody else . I know from experience how hard it is to get one of these off the ground . It's not very easy thats for sure . :( But don't give up hope for one yet I'm sure between the 4 of us we can come up with a time and a place for a TSG summit :) Yeah it shouldn't be too hard for me to get a free weekend... I don't really care where it is I just want to add another state to my list of places I have played... so no GA, SC, NJ, NY, or PA. To bad we couldn't make a week long get together in like Vegas . That would be like way cool dude's . Then we would also have chainsaw with us. Maybe some more if there are any in the area . The only problem being I probably wouldn't be able to afford to come home. pete you don't have to gamble you know . If you got to bad we could always handcuff you to a bed and then the rest of us could split on your entertainment 8) :wink: :lol:

Koolaid , relax man take it easy . Just having a bit of fun thats all . I know that if you are from the south that doesn't make you stupid . Well if you look on the main page , at the TSG eBay link you will get some idea on what they cost . The one's that are listed there will come straight to your door from Japan . I don't believe that the shop you are speaking about would be able to get tham much cheaper or if at all cheaper than what they are listed for there . But that is just my opinion . Chris ( TourSpecGolfer ) sells them hence the TSG eBay link , send him a PM or email about them . Might take him awhile to get back to you as he's on holidays . But if it was me I'd try him first :)

Muria is the best because they have a very limited run size, so the irons that come from there are usually not cheap and people then think that means they're better. Muria to Endo forging wise... no difference. O.K. what makes the difference in forging Main Alloy, mixture of coatings or magic and hype? You have now officially lost me :( I do believe that Joe has stated in another post here somewhere that copper layer by it's self will not give the soft feeling . That there has to be a nickle layer also applied with the copper to get the soft feeling . Now if it is before or after I don't recall . Sorry :)
