I didn't even know that they were coming out with one . Is it that ugly chainsaw ?? Naw I drive a little cavalier :lol: If your dad's buddy does keep one , then the next time you are there get him to take you for a ride that would be way cool man . chainsaw , take it off the butt first. That way if you do decide to tip it you can always add the length with an extension . Kind of hard to do it the other way around if it doesn't work out for you . :) btw: what shaft is in it ??

When is GM going to step up - GM needs an LS7 Corvette of the 2000's 8O NO what GM needs to do is do a retro like ford has . Bring back the big bad 427 all aluminum engine in , lets say a split window coupe . Add a rock crusher 4 or 5 speed tranny ( only need the clutch when starting and stopping ) and nothing made in NA would even come close to touching it . :!: :!: I thought the LS7 was the fastest produced vette at 500 h.p. What was the blue white stripped 60's series GT Vette ? - that would be cool - flared out 67 coupe - or a split window combo - Mike you and I should join the GM test team. That would be a dream come true AK . I would even consider giving up golf for something like that . I can't remember the designation for the engine off hand , but a all aluminum 427 would be the about the fastest non - tuned engine there is . Even the Vipers engine's are tuned just a bit to give it that little extra . I can remember one of those engine's in a Vette that was tuned and put out close to 600+ horsepower . I try and get the designation form a source other than my brother and let you know what it is . Also did you know that in the late 60's early 70's GM made a engine that was 596 cubic inches . It was a very special order and not many people knew about it or could afford it. 596 - that was new to me. What about the Yenko racing motor 's :D AK do you remember the old CAN - AM racing series from the 60's and 70's . Had the like of McLeran and Stewart , Donahue , Hulme etc . That is where most of the 596's went to . They were in the M80 McLeran car and they put out 950 HP . Then Donahue came in with the Porch that had 1000HP . 8O Wish we had a whistle smilie . Yenko now there is a name I have not heard of in a very long time .

Well Jerry there is not that much I can tell you . I just didn't like how high I hit them compared to the 29's at the time . Since then though my ball flight has come up quite a bit to back then . Must be the 690.MB's that have done that , cause when I go back to the 29's it drops again . Lets see it was 3 years ago that I tried them and it was only on a range and only the 6 iron . Like I said not much I can tell you . Sorry .

Oh well guess it's time for me to go to a little bigger head . Will probably help me more in the end then hurt the eye's :lol: Besides am playing the 690.MB's now and they are a bit bigger than I expected also . Plus I should have mentioned that when I tried the 33's I was still playing the 29's so that could have been the man reason I was not overly impressed with them .

Like I said Jerry it is my opinion . :) And no I didn't know that they looked the same . Have never been a fan of the 33's , tried them and never liked them . Just didn't like the size of them . Have not tried the 37's yet so can't say anything at all about them . I still think and believe that the 29's are the best blade's ever made by any company . But then again that just my 0.02 cents anyways . :lol: Jerry I hope you aren't telling me that the 101's and the 33's are the same size are you , cause if you are I'll be :(

Thats right !! I forgot all about that . It is a nice ride , just to bad it's a FORD :lol: Just joking to all you ford lovers out there . Brother works for GM so am kind of partial .

I would say dump the 33 6 iron and go with either a 29 6 iron or a 101 6 iron . That way Jerry , you will only have two diferent sets in one and you can then pretty well know what you can expect from that iron in comparison to the others in the set . IMO of course :)

Bahrain should be real interesting . Will be a real test of man and machine . Have spent some time in the region but it was in the fall and you got to believe it was hot then . Just imagine what it's going to be like in a month or so . Over 120*F . Tires will not last nor engines and a few drivers will be out with heat exhaustion. It will not be fun I can garuntee you that !!
