What's the face angle supposed to be in the 460D model? Square in 9* at least? Edmund, Does your driver have a square face? How would you rate the club in terms of distance?
  2. If you desparately need flat lie anglens that are not offered by OEMs, I would simply shorten the shaft and make the head heavier for swingweight. You won't lose much distance by cutting the shaft an inch, and you may be able to hit the ball more solid. One more thing to remember is that "all" clubs, especially long clubs like drivers and fairway woods, "must" be upright in static position (i.e., at setup) because they will become more flat while you're swinging it for two reasons. First, the shaft will be bent toward your body. Second, your hand will be farther from your body while you're swinging than it was at setup.

Thanks, T. Exactly what I wanted to know. I'm actually traveling in Asia for two weeks right after Christmas and planning to pick up one of those Yamaha drivers. I'll buy either a 07 460D, a 08 4.6V, or a 09 4.6D. I've checked some websites and looks like I can pick up a 07 460D for very cheap, and a 08 4.6V is significantly cheaper than a 08 4.6V. Which one should I go? My gut feeling is that the old 460D would be a good choice because it was proven to be a good driver and not much advancement would normally be expected in 1 year newer models? Am I missing something? FYI, I'm looking for low trajectory, low spinning driver. The one I'm looking at are all 9* loft, which is best for me. What do you guys think?

Has anyone tried both the 08 Yamaha 4.6V and the 09 counterpart? Is the 09 model a big advancement? Any comparison will be appreciated.
  5. I do not have the specs but it is as big as any other JDM caddie bags.
  6. I picked up this bag while traveling in Asia a couple months ago. This Legacy Bag was designed to match Callaway's new premium line called Legacy in Japan. I believe this bag is made of synthetic leather but looks and feels like genuine leather (the rain hood is made of the same material). I removed the tags but never used it the bag. The picture was taken at night and doesn't do justice. If you don't like those flashy staff bags with big logos but still want a premium bag with top of the line quality, this bag is perfect for you. SOLD!
  7. $195 shipped for both.
  8. Thank, T. They look much better than the current models. Are there any other colors in the pro model?
  9. Tour Issue Callaway X-Hybrids from JPGA. 18* and 21* with Fujikura E380 HB shafts in X flex. Unlike the retail version, these heads have a little hole that is blocked. I consulted with Callaway and they say that the hole is for rat glueing for tour players for weighting, and since the hole is blocked the heads never got rat glued. They both are perfect D2 swigh weight. Near mint condition with no marks on the crowns. Even the soles are very clean. Only light ball marks on the face. Very forgiving and long-hitting hybrids. $125 shipped each, $225 shipped for both.

I couldn't find any information on this. Does anyone know whether they make undersize Iomic grips?
  11. Anyone heard about/seen a new staff bag from Adidas? I don't like the 2008 version (pictures below), so I'm looking forward to seeing the 2009 model. If the new model is mainly black in more traditional design, let them reserve one for me.
  12. Has anyone seen them both in person? How do they compare? What differences would one expect? Is either one more of a game improvement iron than the other? Any comments will be appreciated.

I read a posting on the other website that says Ping Japan produces the new Ping S57 with a slightly different head profile. Is this correct? I'm especially interested to know whether the JDM model is longer from heel to toe.
  14. What kind of Diamana is it in the picture? If it's 83 S and is for sale, I may be interested.

What was number one in this month's GD shootout? I certainly do like the traditional shaped driver. I take my NanoV to be pretty traditionally shaped.

Mine is not a 450D, is it? I don't see the model name on mine. It only says Cyberstar NanoV.

I don't know the year or model, but this is what I have. I found a picture on the web. Is this a decent driver?

I'm debating between these two drivers and if you have any comments, please share. The NanoV, which is my current driver, is the JDM model and has 9* loft. The trajectory is pretty close to optimal to me and its distance is really good. No complaints about this driver, but want to try something new. I really like the look of the 08 Onoff Plaus black driver, so want to try it. I'd appreciate any comments on either of these drivers.
  19. PM sent. I'll take them.

Looking for one of the black Adidas staff bag. Please MP me.
  21. Up for sale is the rare Royal Collection Pro TP 3 wood with Graphite Design M-65 in X flex. Club is in excellent condition with just hairline marks on the sole and no marks on the crown. Very compact and pretty head profiel for low handicappers. Hits bomb when struck in center. --> RC Pro TP is sold!
  22. I find Japan only Mizuno staff bags have sold on eBay lately. Are they fake from China?
  23. I really like the color scheme, so I'm very interested. Is anyone using this bag? Is this 9.5 bag big enough? I found some of the Japanese 9.5 bags are a bit small. What would be the shipping cost? Any comments will be appreciated.
