  1. Whoops, I am talking about the wrong stuff... sorry...
  2. Hey guys, It still a little cold here in Chicago but I will be posting reviews of my new Epon AF wedges and my new Epon AF-201 3 wood. Droopy
  3. Thanks DKJ! I actually found a few shoe size converters online. According to the majority of them, 10.5 is actually 28.5cm. Either way, I'm too nervous about buying a shoe without trying it on first... Droopy
  4. I also noticed that the Stability shoes come in EEE (for comfort). I currently wear Footjoys in 10W. I think I'd be better of with 10.5W. What does that convert to for these Mizunos? Thanks, Droopy

Any additional info on these yet? I'd like to get one of the stand bags... Droopy

Does that mean there is a new Epon FW coming out as well?

I think the first set posted by bogeydog are Izzo Tornados. Don't know about the one's TourSpecGolfer just posted... Do they have putter pits? What is the cost? Thanks, Droopy

Any updates on an Epon caddy or stand bag? Droopy
  9. Very interesting! What was used to fill in the dings and that huge gash? Droopy
  10. TourSpecGolfer?

That's good stuff! Inquiring minds want to know...where can we get one? Droopy
  12. I bought my Epon 460 9.5 with a Japan Diamana White board a few months ago. Originally, I was afraid that it would be too light and too stiff for me but it's an absolute beast! I gained 20 yards over my custom fit R7 425 w/ Accra combo. Droopy
  13. Actually, I need a new 3 wood too! I'm very interested in the Epon AF-201. TourSpecGolfer, I noticed that you are using the stock Mach Line shaft in Stiff 75g. How is this combo for you? Specific reasons for NOT upgrading the shaft? The reason I ask is because 10 years ago, I had a Callaway driver that was very long with the stock shaft. I upgraded and it turned into a POS...the shaft definitely did not fit me! I know the stock Mach Line is a pretty good shaft though. Also, PRGR Hit users, why would you recommend the PRGR over the Epon (hypothetically)? Droopy
  14. I have a 60 and a 56 coming in Satin. Can't wait!
  15. Great review LC! Albeit surprising! Droopy

I wish I could take credit for coming up with the design but it was a mix of LC's putter design and one that gocchin posted a pic of... I just put everything together on paper and sent it in. Droopy

Yeah, I sent in the request about one week afterwards. I just chalked it up to a communication error...no big deal. :)
  18. Quick update: I'm definitely NOT getting the 950s. If I go with Nippon, I'm leaning towards the 1050 over the 1150 at the moment. However, I will try both at my local clubfitter before I decide. Anyone have experience wiht the Eagle One shafts? I think I'm going to stay away from graphite for now...these sticks are actually bogeydog's old sticks; they came with the Roddio I-10 shafts. The shafts really don't suit me that well...a little too muted. Very L-O-N-G though! Droopy
  19. Where can I check these out? Also, any one played both these shafts and Nippon's?
  20. Wow! So true for me as well! :(
  21. Thanks gocchin! Gotta do a bit more research... :)

Oh and one more thing. I like the Sasaya sock that it came with but I think I'd like to buy a more conventional putter head cover (like the one below...but not that exact one). Preferably a Gold's Factory version. Anyone know if these exist?
  23. I'm looking to get a new set of shafts for my 4-PW (Mizuno E500). I'm considering the Nippon 950, 1050, or 1150 Tours. I have another set of Taylormade R7 XD with Rifle Tour Flighted 5.5 shafts. These sticks are good for me as I can really feel the shaft kick; the problem is: I don't like the heads too much. I know that the 950 and 1050 play a little soft and the 1150 plays true to flex. I also know that the 950 and 1050 launch the ball higher than the 1150. Here are my questions: 1. Do the 950/1050 play soft enough to match the 5.5 shafts or will I need to soft-step them? 2. With the 1150, I know I will need to soft-step them but how many times to match the 5.5 shafts? Thanks, Droopy

Heh heh, I doubt I'll have time but I'm going to try!
