  1. I love this shaft. I'm playing it with Yamaha Inpres X 460D. Flex is S & CPM is around 248. Feel is very solid with a kind of " tha ball stay with you for a second or two more" feel. My swing speed is not fast, around 43m/s but I can load the shaft easily. Dispersion is tight with low back spin. This shaft is more suitable for player with less wrist cock & swing with the arm a little bit more. This shaft is very popular in japan.
  2. I have the DGR300 standard specs. Only 5,6,&7 irons are used on the range, the rest are still in plastic wrap. Asking $450 shipped.

I'm using Geotech 5 & 7 woods with S63 Blue Board with amazing result, the woods have wonderful feel & are quite easy to hit. Best of all, the price is very reasonable.
  4. I saw one the other day in a golf shop in HK & then next day the putter was sold. Very pretty but feel was a little bit hard & you are constantly aware not to damage the US flag on the putter face. One to keep but not to use on course.
  5. Are u going to buy one & let me try it out?

There is a TS fitting centre up at Victoria Golf at Sinjuku. Sometimes if you are in luck, when there is a promotion, there might be a TS tour van park at the pavement of Victoria.
  7. My all time favourite is VIQ, easy to hit, very consistent. However, recently I tried an utility made by "Head", yes it's 'Head" the tennis racquet maker. The utility is made in japan, super easy to hit & lovely feel. I'm tempted but it's quite expensive.
  8. A friend of mine has a brand new set, he bought it two months ago, still in plastic wrap, with NS Pro 950GH R flex. He wants to sell at $1,400 shipped & paypal. Are U interested? If so, I can send u some pictures. Rdgs, Steve

R, Have you found any gems in Tokyo yet?
  10. I'm thinking to put a Blue Board S63 into a Epon 3 wood as I have excellent result with the Blue Board in my Geotech 5 wood.
  11. I have a W6BA stiff , it's in a Crews head. Tks & rdgs
  12. I have one in Green, 9/10 condition. U interested?
  13. Good JDM cast club includes Daiwa Onoff black, Maruman Exim Nano.
  14. Whoa, very pretty, finishing quality is high as well. How much would it be?

I play Golds Flat back irons with NS Pro 1150 R flex. Fantastic feel, very accurate & you can play all sorts of shots depending on your ability. Forgiving for a blade iron, mis**ts are tend to be distance loss rather than direction. The iron has copper underlay so it's quite soft & you can feel as if the iron head wraps around the ball when you flush it. I haven't tried the cavity model but I guess it's probably even easier to play.
  16. Fujita also uses this Sky Dream Jump putter as well.
  17. You are absolutely right if you hit the ball cleanly every time.....but the fact is we don't hit it consistenly enough. In a wet & plush fairway, with the Gold's, I tend to dig a little deeper than under normal condition, may be it's the soft ground, but several Mms lower could make a big difference for iron shots.
  18. Gold's blade is super soft & very easy to play as blade. I have it with NS Pro 1150 R flex & the ball flight is penerating but holds the green brilliantly. However, the leading edge/sole grind of the Gold's does not work well with steep blow or soft fairway, I just notice it when I played in a very wet course & the Gold's just picked up too much divot for my liking. Other than that , it's a wonderful set of irons.
  19. I'm alternating between Gold's Factory blade & X blade. Both are superb irons with fantastic feel. Of the two, Golds is quite forgiving for a blade iron with little distance & directional lost but you can instantly feel that you are not hitting the sweet spot. well worth a try.
  20. I'm alternating between Gold's 2 tone wedge & Crews T301 Triple Sole wedges both with DG S200 shaft. They are both beautiful to look at, craftsmanship is top notch. In terms of feel, Golds is the softest may be due to the copper underlay although Crews is not far behind. Spin wise, both wedges put out a lot of spin, in fact I need to take a whole round to adjust to Crews spin & it chews the ball. Both wedges are superb but I like the Golds a little bit more than Crews, may be due to the fact that Golds is a limited edition, it has a fantastic feel & very accurate.
  21. Hi Chinkwan, Glad to know that you like the VIQ & the shaft fit your swing. I'm still using 19* & 25* both with UT 85 shaft. One thing I find is even with Tee shot, the club performs better with no tee or very very low tee. May be due to the low profile club face. I'll have a round with you if I visit my parents. Happy golfing.
  22. Srixon ZR600, PRGR 900 MD are both good choices. These irons give you the feel, softness but at the same time some forgiveness.
  23. Also Mactec is cheaper than other drivers on average by 10 to 15,000 yen.
  24. Gocchin, I would say I'm obsessed with Japan as well. This year alone, I've been to japan threee times already, once for the Golf Fair & twice for onsen & golfing. Japan is like a magnet & everything there facsinates me. I can spend hours & hours exploring the golf shops in different parts of Tokyo & Osaka. In Kensai, people has more knowledge of the small brand whereas in Tokyo, golf market is mainly dominated by the big oem. I'm researching the various golf courses around the major cities in japan & want to write something about it as I find golfing in japan is a wonderful expereince & its relatively inexpensive.

I'm using a 9.5* 430 with GD Quattro Tech 65 S shaft. The feel is superb, soft yet with lots of feedback. Trajectory is mid. I find the head forgiving & is certainly more forgiving than 435. I have also tested the VIQ Deep 10* with stock shaft & the ball fllight of VIQ Deep is high & is very forgiving as well.
