anyone know the tip diameter of a cameron pro platinum newport? .370? or is it something else?

slows my tempo down...ive always played with a heavy shaft (at least 90 grams) since ive played junior golf...distance is never a problem with me, but trajectory control often is (i have a ridiculously high launch angle). for 6 years ive played a 7.5* driver, and recently switched to an 8.5...this shaft helps me keep the ball down.

yeah...im pretty sure...if anyone knows otherwise please say... but i know for sure that TM puts graphics on a few shafts, not just the speeder...rayon, six, diamana, NV are the few ive seen, and im sure theres more

im almost positive there isnt a tour pro who has a "titleist" speeder. i could be wrong, but im certain thats just a retail shaft. if you check out the catalog here, you can see both shafts sorry could you post again.. was i supposed to see a catalog in your post? its above, on the main menu...the catalog for TSG

whats the mtx??i could swere that retief had a 757 on the playoff holes on 18 at the Tavistock cup. drew it was a rayon with the tp graphics, the same graphics that the speeder has, TM gives several shafts TP graphics, the red and silver....i think....someone correct me if im wrong

well i cant sleep and its 5:00 am, and theres no point in going back to bed for an hour and a half...so im posting messages :) ----- do you guys get a lot of humidity up north? if you do, just play a few rounds, clean it, but dont dry it, and leave it outside. sprinkle some salt in the water you clean it with if you want it to happen faster. if you get a chance to play by an ocean for a week or so then it will help it rust dramatically. make sure that its not a finished or chrome wedge, no matter how crappy it is. if theres a coating on it, most likely its going to take a lot of time for that to wear off.

i know theyve done some prototypes for nike. precision has a set i think. the half cavities i was talking about the other day...stewart cink and a few other nike guys have played them.

my R7 TP is in my closet...i put my 510 DF tour back in, much more solid. if you like the R7 and feel that something is "missing"....try something from the 500 series...TP, XD, whatever... its an endless search... good luck! -sammy
