Pullout Speeder 757 Stiff Shaft with TP Graphics. Clean tip. Thanks for looking!
  7. I had a demo day last weekend and MAC of all companies surprised me and impressed me the most. Their fitting system has expanded and now has a full range including an NV 105x, a 95x, and a couple Grafalloy Blue 90 Tour X shafts, all of these great novelty. Norman actually was using the 105xx in his mactec of the many drivers he must own. My question is this, I have fallen off the tech curve compared to what I used to be with all these millions of shaft offerings, puring, cpms yada yada yada. He had me try a Fuji Fit-On 11 stiff and it felt awesome. Great soft feel excellent ball flight and quite surprising. I swing about 115 and carry the ball about 270 with a very high ballflight. What should I look for for a shaft besides this. I have a vista pro 80 stiff in my 454 now which feels good but I think there is something better out there. I had a Rayon TP-70LT stiff in my R7 tp and liked that. Thanks for the help.
  8. Heard from an insider today that Callaway is releasing the FT-3 which is the draw enhance head. It is in testing now to get the sound correct. Yes the one you hear Phil muscling around with is a thudding Yonex wannabe. This one they want to have that Callaway trademark tink sound. More news to come.

What shaft was he using in his driver this week? I think we can all see that the steel shafted driver trend is officially out of style.

I have to agree with rubycoho. I do not see the advantage of puring a shaft. especially when you are spending that kind of money the quality control is out of this world. Its not that I am a skeptic, I just think it is a big phantom myth.
  11. I was never talking market specific. What you forget to mention is that you are saying Titleist is market specific. Of course people looking at Titleist drivers are not looking at Cobras, thats because they are two different markets. Cobra itself, also shares the market with Cleveland, and PING's G2. Lets remember that when Titleist introduced the 983K which is overwhelmingly the favorite driver, the competition was selling the Ping Si3 340 cc and the Taylor R5 series which sold heads that were 310, 340, and 400cc's respectively. The Cleveland 400 pushed the limits but at 35 cc's larger than the 365 cc offering, of course these drivers will be competitive. Cobra was pushing the 380 and the 427 driver. Oh and ive sold drivers too...for 5 years. :-)
  12. I don't remember the: Cleveland Comp Nike Ignite PING TiSi - Si3 Mizuno MP Cobra Comp Cobra SZ Callaway 454 Callway GBB II Much less any other driver besides the club whoring TM that had a driver fetch $2 grand on the bay. You guys think you have the answers. Cobra is their 460 driver company. For you guys to say that they are "missing the curve" is one of the funniest things I have ever heard. I like the fact that they wait 2 years to release their product. Ever wonder why? Because the people spending the better part of their weekly paycheck to play one know its not going to be worth zero 5 weeks later. So what if Tiger and Vijay are using 460 heads. You think they are magically going to disappear off of the face of this earth? Lets use a little common sense here everyone.
  13. Can you show me your scale for determining .2 and what unit of measure is .2
  14. Just had a demo day today and hit both. The stock woods have the speeder with the multiple speeder words written just below the grip like the tour spec fujikuras. Driver felt solid but I was more impressed with the fairways. Solid, good looking, and great feel. True to whoever said it was a mesh between a 975f and a980f
  15. Just pulled out of a 510 tp. If you are interested email me or pm. Thanks!!!
  16. I think someone is going trigger happy on random clubheads with that racing logo

Go to your local shop that has a Cleveland account. Their catalogue lists all these items and they should order it for you no problems.
  18. just look how low the first step on his driver comes to the ferrule...telephone pole :surprize:
  19. sales reps are pushing them right now. hosting a demo day on Saturday so hopefully I will get ahold of a sleeve to try out and give some feedback.
  20. Ian Poulter is the biggest flame in the world of golf :-)
  21. Anybody know anything about these as well as retail? I am trying to get ahold of one to try in a wedge to see how they play. Thanks
  22. I hit them last month. I like the look as the best prior model they had I believe were the x-14 ps irons. They have little offset, feel pretty good and I think are a very good looking club. I hit them with x-100 dynamic golds and was pretty impressed. On looks alone I recommend them.
  23. High fives for creativity
  24. All this talk and none of you have even hit it yet! If you remember before the Mercedes and SONY when Ernie was hotter than Eva Longoria in my bed, there were several 983K's and E's selling the Bay for over $1,000. I dont care what you guys say this is gonna be a winner, they produce quality stuff every 2 years and put their product out their without hype. People play it because it is the best.
