Thanks....just waiting for the digi to come in from fujifilm so I can get some pics up of the bag, and the possible changes.
  2. true enough but just keep your eye out for the shoes.
  3. Ya zojo the tour metal is the shoe I'm wearing right now and it was just released to the market april 1st, but this is a brand new shoe that you'll be quite impressed over once you see the staff wearing them at the us open.
  4. In talking to the Ping rep today they are going to be releasing their first hybrid club to the market in the fall to compete with the other companies with a true hybrid club instead of their Hi Launch series irons that most of their staff players are currently using as hybrids if they aren't using a different manufactures hybrid club. Also Adidas will be bringing out a new shoe that will be worn by all staff at the US Open. (Unlike anything Adidas has brought out yet)

I'm not a Taylormade Rep, just mentioned my buddy who's the Nike rep at 21 but I am a cpga pro that plays on a Taylormade Deal. (which could be changing to a Nike deal) But before the start of the season I got to try the new LT2's and the TP's and the LT2's were a really solid club, and the slight changes that they've made to this years LT's from last year has greatly improved the playability of the irons. I personally preferred the ball flight I had with the TP's which was a more penetrating ball flight then I had with the LT2's which I hit a lot higher but in the end it was all about personal preference to play the TP's as I was switching from last years TP combos. You would be happy with the LT2's if you purchased them in the future, but I'm pretty sure that a local club in your area if they carry Taylormade would have a demo set that you could take out for a round or have a little more extensive demoing then just the launch monitor at Golf town.

Ya there aren't too many jobs around the industry that you wouldn't enjoy, or at least not enjoy the benefits but the sales rep or tour rep would be quite a nice job to get into.

  11. I wasn't implying that it wasn't the equipment best suited to your game, just making sure that it fell into all those categories because as a pro and being a club that's exclusively TM and being one of their Club players I see more and more in fittings someone who wants the R7 TP or the Rac TP's just because it's the Tour edition or Sergio and other staff players are using it when they would be best fit in an R7 Quad HT or R5 Dual. So as long as you have access to the personal use discounts and the equipment suits your eye and it's the optimal equipment for you than that 2.5 will come down all in good time.
  12. Welcome to TSG and I share in yours and penguin66 sentiment in Adam Scott being the favourite tour pro and there is definitely reason to emulate his swing and fundamentals because week in and week out he's one of the most consistent players in my opinion. My only caution would be to make sure that the equipment that your putting in your bag is the best equipment that's suited to your game, like the craze that hit when Tiger switched to the Nike Driver and Blades, many people switched but their games would of been better had they not made the switch and played equipment fitted for them. The other thing would be the clubs he has in his bag like most pros aren't the same clubs that you'll purchase from your local shop so instead of focusing yourself to what he's playing and what's new in the bag every week, focus on your game and you'll see that 2.5 come down. (It'll also save you money because I assume your not getting free equipment from Titleist :money: )

This is going to be an interesting one to watch the events pan out.

Whoever it may be that's forging his club for him, the swoosh in the end gets stamped either way and Nike gives him the money every year. If the Miura connection is still there, it really doesn't matter in the end because it says Nike Blades as the clubs he's playing so people will buy the Nike blades, not the Miura Blades.

962's are classics. which bag you playing right now?
  16. The stock shaft that comes in the 460 Comp is the Black shaft made by Fujikura, which isn't bad compared to most stock shafts available on the market today. In terms of the two driver options, you'd be getting a tour proven driver in the 580XD TP and the Cleveland Comp. So whichever one fits your eye better and gives you the trajectory that you're looking for. Hard to say between the two because as always it falls to personal preference.

It's been well documented that Stites came onboard with Nike for the sole purpose of being able to work with Tiger, and Tiger as well has commented on the work that he's done with Stites so like was said above...the muira connection is old news.
  18. cpga replied to ObieTrice5's post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Doesn't come as a huge surprise as he's always played a modified version of the ball everyone else played (tour accuracy tw, nike one gold tw) but this ball sounds quite interesting.
  19. What kind of wedge was it?

why'd you choose the fusions, over the x-18 or other irons in the Callaway line?
  22. is there a particular reason why you're wanting the 33/350 out of curiosity compared to what vokester illuded to in buying th 35/350 and cutting it down.
  23. Is there not a way to have his item taken off ebay, in terms of getting in touch with ebay itself? Can't see how action wouldn't have to be taken if that sort of money's going to be posted up to people that don't know about golf clubs.
  24. cpga replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Sounds good, but being a TM player and using the same model myself it looks very similar to my rossa tp daytona 1, and the custom grip is the winn medalist grip that all the euro players received for the ryder cup. That's all I was making reference to throughout was in terms of the picture AKFLY originally posted. But thank you ctlaltdel and vokester on updating us to him switching to the Yes!.
