  1. Guys, looking for a low spin, low launch driver shaft somewhere in the 70-80 gram range. Any help would be much appreciated.
  2. Damm sexy if you ask me!!
  3. gocchin, will the master refurbish any brand. Interestingly I have some old Wilsons that would look very good redone in my view.
  4. The Gauge Design pro series 2 looks brilliant. Has this already gone back to the customer?? I would be interested in seeing a photo from the front.
  5. Probably something Mizuno....and for a really thin top line something vintage Mizuno
  6. Question is what are you going to buy if you sell these I've had mine for a year and they are simply the best.
  7. Hey gocchin Have Srixon released a 2009 model of their stand bag??
  8. The driver looks like an on off?? Could you provide some information on it. I really love how you have pimped your set out, super snazzi in my view!!
  9. These are sold out in the pro shop...so some of you boys and girls have bought them. Any reviews???
  10. I'm just reading the December issue of Golf Digest, where Ryuji Imada clubs are in the "what's in the bag" section. He uses a 3 and a 5 and a 4 rescue. Question is what do you guys use 2 fairway woods or two rescues??.....and what are the benefits of your combination.
  11. Well NiftyNiblick, this has been my hobby horse for a couple of years now. I had an old set of Wilson Staffs when I was growing up as a kid. The PW was 52* and I carried 1 - SW. Each iron had a purpose and a distance. The marketing (and that's all it is) that has done away with classic lofts is simply rubbish. Let's stick to our ideals.....good on ya man.
  12. A very interesting last comment. I have the NS 1150s in my Gauge Studio Hand Mades, and only commented to my brother this morning how I could move the ball either way with them. That said I gave the credit to the heads, but having read the post it was probably the shafts LOL.
  13. A very merry Christmas to all who contribute to the posts on TSG. May you all prosper in 2009. Best wishes, Jack
  14. If the shaft and ball are good enough... .... dare I say it.... ....a return to persimmon may happen If you doubt what I say, please be advised Tiger plays persimmon in off season practice. Of course it will never be in his bag during the season, Phil Nike pays too much to let that happen. ...food for thought.
  15. These are beautiful. I'm also intrigued about the channel in the sole. I know this is common in wedges, but what benefit does it provide for the rest of the irons?? Just a little curious.
  16. May as well ask... ....do Iomic make oversize grips???
  17. Payment sent. Regards Jack
  18. Come on guys. Post a few more pics of the top end Japanese drivers....we're all interested.
  19. These high end Japanese drivers are very sexy... ....of course you need Tigers bank balance to buy one That said I can't think of a better reason to to some overtime.
  20. Well let me ask the question What are the KNS wedges like?? The rest of the bag is really good....
  21. To be honest I've hit a couple of great shots with these since having them installed from both the fairway and the sand. I think the combination of the heavier but softer shaft provides great feel. No problems hitting the ball either high or low, which I have experienced with other shafts. I don't know the weight of S200 dynamic gold, however they feel a tad boardy to me and the S400 has no feel at all for me. The Nippon 125s feel more advanced in design, but just a feel thing. It's probably phycological, however the heavier shaft has significantly reduced the yips with the short chips. I think the idea for me was to make my wedges heavier, same idea as using a heavier putter to help with the yips. I would actually be interested to know what weight shafts the pros use in their wedges. Highly recommended in my view.
  22. I think we are all suckers for blade irons. I just know if the swing was on song the results with these would be spectacular. ....truly beautiful
  23. A simple comment. This looks like a golf club to me particularly at address. Super job by the Tourstage boys in my view!!
