Srixon I505 vs PRGR TR910
Chris, how do you think? Wow we really have a mixed group here, It is a tuff decision, Both Irons made in Japan both have heavy play at this moment on the JPGA tour. Here are some ups: -The PRGR Shafts are Kick Ass, M-43, M-46 etc.. They remind me of NS shafts but better than the 950 & 1050. - The PRGR's are extremely forgivng yet setup just a tad bigger than what I would call player. That alone will inspire more confidence when standing over them. - The Srixons, a new release and I have only had the 5 Iron with NS950 shaft to play around with, They remind me of the XCBs with a better shape, sole grind, feel and just all around more refined. The long Irons were super easy to hit. I cant make a decision just because I havent owned the I-505s with my favorite shafts, I have had the PRGR's and liked them a lot, in fact I have liked every PRGR Irons I have ever had. Srixons the I-404's were sweet and the I-505s should be even better... Maybe you should try the toss of a coin  folks, something I just found which I would like to share with all of you: the 9 iron loft of PRGR TR 910 is 40, and PW is 45, in which mean 910's 9 iron is about my current 7 and 1/2 iron (also PRGR TR iron in year 2001, 9 iron=44), so, here is the problem now, my 7 iron is about 160 yards, therefore, wit the new PRGR 910, with stronger loft, lighter, softer shaft, I might can hit my 9 iron 160 yeards .... :surprize: ....., so, what I am going to use within 130 yards, which's the most favor distance to attact greens .... :fever: on the other hand, Srixon I505 is one degree stronger (9 iron=43, PW=47), which might be a better choice for me since I don't have to change my current game ...... :tired: am I in the right trcck ??? anyone .....

Srixon I505 vs PRGR TR910
Folks, There are only two choice left for my new iron selection list: 1) PRGR 910 with DG S200 (since ns pro shaft is not available) 2) Srixon I-505 with NS Pro 950GH so, anyone out there who can give me some quick review or suggestion of each set? Thanks! ----------------------------- Callaway FT3 tour 9.5 with Diamana 63 S shaft 3 Wood: Titleist 980F 13 Taylor Made dual TP 19 PRGR TR Speed Iron 3-PW, AW, & SW with Rifle 6.0 Scotty prototype

oh God, help me...
thanks, +1, I've nippon 950 the other day, I think I like it so much - I can swing much easier but get the same distance and high ball flight, yet, I've heard lots of good thing about PX, even I have hard time to find a px to try it first, as a rifle user for the past 7 years, I do have faith on it. anyhow, how to you compare rifle 6.0 vs px 5.5 /nippon 950? :fever:
-
oh God, help me...
+1, how do you think? should I go for PX 5.5, or nippon for my next irons? I really dislike the coloer of Japan X tour, but if I need to get nippon shaft, it seems like I have no choice ....
-
oh God, help me...
folks, I've checked Callaway Japan Website, it shows that the Callaway Japan does offer nippon shaft for x tour in japan. as I've checked with Chris a week ago, he told me that the only different between US x tour and japan's is only the coler of insert. so, ........ :fever: maybe I should just get the japan one from Chris instead ...., yet, don't really like the color of it.

oh God, help me...

-
oh God, help me...
folks, help me out here ...., just call Callaway and found out nippon shaft is not available for X-Tour!!?? Can anyone tell me if it can be reshafted or not? Or should I just go for Project X? This really drives me crazy especially after I spend weeks to make up my mind and come out what I want for my new iron set....., and now it turns out I am back to where I started it. :wah:

help and advise needed, which set?
folks, I am ready to get a new set of iron, yet, just have really hard time to make up my mind, therefore, I am here to seek some advises. there are few different iron sets on my list: 1) Callaway X Tour, 2) PRGR TR 910, 3) Mizuno JPX E301, 4) Srixon I505, and 5) Mizuno MP37. currently, I am using PRGR 900TR (Speed Iron) 2-PW, AW, and SW with Rifle 6.0, and would like to use project x 5.5 in my new iron set. any commons are more than welcome, thanks a lot!
