I agree Chris. I actually have been reluctant to sell it, but I just can't get used to a heel shaft. Sure is a sweet putter though.

9 out of 10 condition. Tried it at home and on the practice green. Just not a heel shafted kinda guy. Which is too bad, this putter feels absolutely great, and rolls the ball wonderfully. Comes with a GD headcover. $275 $225US shipped and paypalled.
  3. The Beres look really nice. sure wish some of these clubs existed here, so they could be looked at in person. Sometimes pictures are too hard to get perspective. Like the grinding on the soles. so you say they are forged in Japan eh? Hmmm.
  4. The site looks promising. Notice no premium shown. Kinda funny when you check out wedges. Still under construction I imagine. Can't wait for my Premium #0 Red!!
  5. I agree, and to make Tiger look good as well (given all the money he has), it would be nice to direct all the funds to his foundation, or another charity. Just my thoughts.

For what it is worth, I am a 12 hdcp, and use the original Gauge Design NC-1's with no problem, matter a fact, I love them. You may want to look at G-Fields NC-1 as well. Of course in any of them, the right shaft is important.
  7. Any word yet when the Premium Zone Anser styles will be available again (the #0,1,2 etc)?

I agree. I finally got to hit mine yesterday after sitting on them since December as well. They feel great, and yeah the long irons are really nice. Love the feel on those pure shots. My clubmaker was really impressed with them, and the frequency steps on the 1150's. Said who ever did the build was good. so all I can say is "Thank You" to the ones that off loaded these. These will be around for quite awhile. Sweet set. Great trajectory, and pure entertainment.
  9. Don't know why, but everytime I see that Tour SM 940a (or whatever the numbers) I really like the way it appears, just wish it had a sight line.

thanks for the reply Chris. I am sure anxious for this snow to be gone and for golf to start so I can finally try them. another couple of weeks maybe if weather stays warm.
  11. I have both the Gauge Design forged L and the "One" anser style putter. The forged L is of course heel shafted so a bit more toe flow than the anser. the feel is great, comparable with the One. the shaft is about one shaft offset to it. Alignment is excellent. All around a great putter, as long as you are not trying to perrfect a straight back straight through putting stroke, in which case a face balanced would be better.

Plus1...any thoughts? you had both, or were your NC-1 hand made?

So I have my Gauge Design NC-1's, still unable to play them for another 4weeks (snow). got them in January, not knowing the G-field's would be out. It seems that the G-Fields have more bulk milled into the bottom as opposed to the GD NC-1 which seems to go higher up the back. for those that have tried both, how would they compare feel wise and ball flight? I got to get into this inner cicle, so I am not buying what I thought was relatively fresh and best, only to find out I should have waited.
  14. Not having seen the G-Fields up close, it appears through the pictures that the milled weighting pocket on the back is concentrated lower than the original Gauge Design NC-1's. Any truth to this, and for those that have hit both, how much difference do you find.
  15. I think you will be happy with it. I am looking to get one so I don't have to take my DSLR and lenses on vacation, but we just bought a Sony DVD camcorder, and of course they will take stills (3.1mp), so I will see how they look, and if not to my liking, the FZ7 will be on the way :) Oh and the noise won't even be an issue at 4x6, only if tried to blow up pictures to 8x10, and it was using iso400 in low light. Happy shooting, in golf too :)
  16. That actually is quite an eye catching design. quite nice really. Wish it had a sight line. Just seems compact and solid, What does it feel like compared to say the one?
  17. I'd go for the Panasonic DMC FZ7. It is the newer model replacing the FZ5. Lieca lens, 12x Optical zoom, Image stabilizer, small size. The new model is cheaper than the older FZ5. Only downside to the camera (as with all cameras in this range), is noise in higher ISO (low light) situations, but if most shots are daylight, it is great. Especially catching the kids playing sports with the 12X zoom.

Really like the goose neck on the Carbon softtail. Where were you able to get these? Jay or Bo? I was looking at a Fleetwood, but can't make up my mind (or convince myself that I need a new putter again)
  19. There was a post or two comparing the mb2 vs the NC-1. Not sure if the Gfield play much different or not. I only have the nc-1
  20. That "0" model sure looks nice. Will patiently for your announcement that they are available. Think I like the red insert to go with the paintfill. At least one way to have a red hot putter for change :tsg_smiley_yes: I turst you'll let us know when we can order? Will these come with the NSPRO putter shaft?
  21. Wow, definitely nice. Would like a set, but I think I should at least get my new SQBTs dirty first. D@mn snow!
  22. Very nice work. Might have to look them up for my crafted edition The One putter!
  23. Not sure if I entered, but count me in.
  24. I will take your word for it Chris :tsg_smilie_smile: I thought it might be just pic angles, and I will look closer at mine at home tonight. Not that it matters, I'll keep mine :tsg_smilie_cool:
  25. Are these made of leather, if not, what is the material?
