  1. OOPS!!! I switched pics... I didn't even notice her cat was showing! 8O damnit, should've kept quiet! :D
  2. This thing is an absolute launcher! Longer and easier than a Sonartec ss-03. This club will not be leaving the bag anytime soon.
  3. Thanks, I'm excited! Should be here tomorrow.
  4. I was definitely wanting to hear something like that.
  5. Must be in good condition. No big dings or whatever. Not too concerned about the finish, cause I'll let it rust anyway. Original shaft a must.
  6. Selling a club that you got for free from a nice member of another board? Not really a good move IMO. Not to mention, you're about 100 heavy in your asking price...Give it to some kid who can't afford a good driver. You'll feel good about yourself and karma will return the favor someday.
  7. I just purchased a Hotmetal 13.5 with a HK80. Does anybody have any feedback on this club? I'm excited to get it in the bag as I've wanted one for quite some time.

IMO, Maruman irons are very underrated. I played a set of Curtis Strange for about 6 months. I ho'd them away but have looked for a set in similar condition for a decent price since. Very solid and forgiving. They also don't wear very easily for a butter soft forged iron. Don't know much about the wedges but I'm sure they're sweet.

Send that bad boy to CCC and get it 3x'd. The finish looks really good and it's very durable. Kinda gives it a "tour" look.
  10. Nothing will put an end to tour clubs market or their mystique.
  11. The Pro 95 doesn't have a really stiff tip. It is mid-stiff (being designed for a fairway wood). A pro 95 has a high kick but a VTLT has an extra high kick. A VTLT has a very stiff tip and will lower the flight and spin for any golfer. It is a right field machine if you tip it very much and not really that workable for right to left shots. I played a VTLT in a 300 tour for a while and I really had to concentrate on staying way behind it to hit a draw...and it really would just fall left.

To me it looks like you have a slight reverse pivot causing you to have to stand up and lose your spine angle at impact. WE LOVE THE SUBS!

I had my initials put on my MP29s. It was done with stamps from a high tech company. Probably the same type stamps.
  14. Nike is starting to come around with some good looking clubs. Hopefully they perform well.
  15. That is one FUGLY driver!
  16. The driver being discussed is a very early tour proto of the 300 tour. It looks just like the original 300 tour proto head which has no scoring lines in the sweetspot except it says r360 on the sole.

I think it's a really good ball. Not extremely long but the cover holds up pretty well and it stops on the greens. Chips and putts well. Nice feel.
  18. A full insertion with an already tip stiff shaft will definitely make it play more stout than a regular bore. My kid brother shafted his 983e with a 75s fully inserted and I love it. It definitely plays more like an x. I would suggest a 2" insertion untipped for the shaft to play true to flex. Just my thoughts...
