Hmm, might pull the roddio from my driver and put it in my 3-wood. Would that work?

I still have a w7wa x-stiff in my driver. Like it, but at a LM session last fall/winter it seemed like it spun too much. Still, like it but might switch to a Quadra proto if I get the cash. It works fine when I swing around 110, but if I get to 115-120 it doesn't keep up as well

What shaft is in that thing? Looks like it says Roddio on it, but I don't recognize the model!
  5. Nice review! What's your swing speed?
  6. Great write up, thanks! I've only hit the Devotion out of those shafts, but I felt the exact same way. Hated that shaft! Distance was pretty good, but it felt like crap and I couldn't hit it straight to save my life! The Revenge felt and performed way better, for me at least.
  7. It looks pretty damn stunning! Can't wait to see the wedges as well!
  8. I thought you did a great job, and I hope you do more. Perhaps you could show ball flight as well in the future? The performance of the egg spoon sounds awesome, but the actual sound! Yikes! Guess you'll get over the horrible sound pretty quick once you put a few out there, but wow. :D
  9. I live in Sweden so can't buy Epon fromTSG. Luckily the shop I go to, and where I know one of the owners happens to carry Epon so I can get it from there. Just wanted a ball park figure, so I'll know if it's feasible. Was thinking about the 502s in copper actually.
  10. Is there an upcharge from Epon for the different finishes?
  11. Interesting debate... Just one point/question. Just because 1018 in general doesn't conform to JIS standard might not necessarily mean that there isn't good quality 1018 to be had from China, or whereever. Or am I thinking wrong? It would be, IMO, beyond retarded for Scratch not to be 100% sure about their irons and wedges being 1018 when it is one of their main selling point (the other being the different grinds).
  12. Which forum was it moved to, or do you have the link? edit: Nevermind, found it.
  13. Nice to hear about new Epon wedges, while the 208s feels great I didn't really care for the shape. How about the Three Luck copper wedges? On their web page they state that they are made more for the LPGA... How are they compared to their other wedges in size, offset and grinds?
  14. Says in the original post that they are $3000, so you're not that far off ;)
  15. But how will it work with the old grooves? Wouldn't it spin too much?
  16. Thanks for the input! Makes it kinda hard to resist...even though I'm not even sure if the weather will allow for more rounds of golf until spring :D
  17. Thanks! No worries, I'm aware of that. I'm leaning towards replacing my 56* and 61* with a 58* anyway. How much for a 58 head only?
  18. Nice. I currently have a Yururi Gekku in 61 and unless I hit that thing perfectly I pretty much dig a hole underneath the ball (I hit it pretty steep). The Yururi only has a bounce of 5*, so would the proto be a better club for a digger? What lofts do they come in, the same as the other Sky Dreams?
  19. How are the Proto wedges? ...and are they equivalent to the DP2010 WEDGE in the proshop?

Ah! And of course set up-pics etc :)

Looks pretty nice :D epon 151
  22. These look really stunning! How do they compare in size to the Epon 501? They seem quite small, with a thin top line. Kinda scary-looking for my game... :P
  23. The wedge looks really good but the name is kinda crazy!
