S yard XV iron's!!
Shame - not pretty like the drivers! Perhaps they'll be more minimalist on a blade design.....

Driving iron v UT v FWd
I have an old PRGR Zoom 4+ driving iron with heavy HB graphite shaft. It is a driving iron, and irreplacable for following reasons: 200m (220yd) fairway finder on short par 4s Great for strategic 2nd shots on par 5s Easy to hit low recovery punch shots (I can't do this with my RC hybrid) Great out of thick rough or hardpan Super-forgiving with all that tungsten strategic weight placement Great feel, and can actually shape shots quite easily When it's really windy, can hit all sorts of knock-downs with it It looks cool and always gets comments - "What is that thing?" I think it's the best club PRGR have ever made - superb design! Highly recommend a club like this in your bag.

Anyone have experience with Mizuno k75td driver?
My decisions are purely based on enjoyment and scoring. Clubs like my PRGR 4+ driving iron just flat-out work for me - and it's all about the whole bag flowing so you can keep same tempo swing all day, plus the local turf and weather conditions..... Great hobby!

Anyone have experience with Mizuno k75td driver?
I have one (10.25*) with a Diamana X 70s shaft. I actually find the feel really solid and don't have any problem with forgiveness. Slightly hollow but solid sound. Very workable and very deep face. Longest driver I own and I really like the silver inlay and white line on top. Shape-wise and accuracy-wise I still love all of the Yamaha Tourmodel lineup, but this Mizzy I will be holding onto - it is a beautiful club! Cheers Darren

Fujikura type x 75 x and avery welcome surprise
Supo says......"Seriously i dont know why i just dont go back to. Bagging the yamahas they have never let me donwn ever" Yamaha tourmodel drivers are just flat out well-behaved and so enjoyable to play. All round performers for sure with right loft and shaft. Functional simplicity! Stew I had a bit of a driver test on the range this arvo and came to the same conclusion.......

S-Yard XV vs T.388 vs XT - Official Comparison Thread!
Very well articulated and comprehensive Bogeydog. That versatility is the main reason I like deep faced drivers with more loft! The XV sounds really good to me, but looking fwd to hearing whether this translates on-course with real play and urethane balls.

4dr.no's WITB
Superb bag. Love your setup. How is the pearl white finish on the Jbeam in the flesh? Be also keen to hear how you find the 3 wood!

Putter Selection... Does It Matter?
I had a putting lesson about 12 months ago with a reputable "putting coach". He determined: I need a shorter putter I need a face-balanced putter I need an offset putter due to left eye dominance I need a double bend shaft So I did all of the above and watched my putting stats deteriorate further. Moral to the story. Go with feel. Find a natural routine matched with a putter you like and just stay with it!

Epon AF-302 vs. PRGR TR500
PRGR make great irons. The TR500 are long heel-to-toe, thin topline, negligible offset and have a rounded toe. Top that with the satin finish and they are classic sexxxxxy irons! They still have that bevelled leading edge, so if you are a digger any of the prgr irons will always help you.

SOLD thx TSG!
Freddy got plenty of really nice things to trade if interested (putters, 3 woods, drivers). If you're ever in Brisbane come take a look. You might do a better deal that way!!

Epon AF-302 vs. PRGR TR500
Supo keen to see how you like 'em. My brother's with C-tapers feel great so can only imagine what a smooooooth shaft might feel like in these (but beware they might launch high with wrong shaft....)

RIDuffer's weapons of HC destruction
How do you like the Quadra Proto 65x in the 435 Steve? I've now got the 75s in an old D2 9.5 head and it goes really well in that......launches pretty high

Ready for the Masters! ball
You see by the time you do range time and the round, you need at least 7 hours of energy. I think at the 5hr mark he'll need a Red Bull! What about someone like Hunter Mahan?

s-yard VS jbeam 435
Hew Supo - thanks for a great day out. Agree totally with your summary - 435/Stinger a better flight and more automatic for you, but in summer the S-Yard might go/run further. And yes - I tried 'em all and BB7s/Maruman was my favourite (man you should see this guys bag at the range......!). Thanks for setting me up with a quality bag/ on quality course/ with top company (and great steaks after game etc etc) Cheers DM

Anyone tried the 2013 Yamaha RMX Driver?
Thanks all - I guess that's what happens when you try and take short cuts. Not worth it!

Daamartin for 2013 - Retro but good!
Is it a weekend game? in Tokyo area 23/24 March. Not bringing clubs, but I realise that's NOT an issue in this arena! Otherwise conference up in Tsukuba week before, then down to Kyoto with family 27-31 March.

Daamartin for 2013 - Retro but good!
Is v. goooood Stew. I miss the white alignment line now every time I stand over another driver. Also afraid to try any other shafts in it 'cos she's working great, but wonder what a Diamana X 70s would do to this thing?. Yet to play it in big wind and that may change my mind....... Hey Stew - I'll be in Tokyo in mid March with the family!

Daamartin for 2013 - Retro but good!

Daamartin for 2013 - Retro but good!
Yeah thanks Vman. I love it, and the white line and silver inset seen from address really help alignment. Fubuki K is a great match for this head.
