have'nt hit the hrx-333 but do want try them.. played the ad-333 and ur-x ball and must say they are very good balls. the ad-333 has to be one the longest balls out there BUT i could'nt stop her on thegreen like i need to. it would hit and release way too much.. the ur-x does have the stopping power i like and would match it up with the prov-1 ball for playability and control. srixon has a good stable of golf balls..

you could tip it one inch for the driver-- since the taylor hosel depth is not that deep- to insure a firm flex.. and yes you can tip a shaft too much as to effect feel and playability.. no more than 2'' on the SIX.. you might has well jump up to stiff flex if you need to tip it that much...

driver tip half inch and 3wd tip one inch... should allow for the same feeling in both clubs...
  5. i found out already...
  6. i don't have the club yet>> fourteen kp, iron hi858 club. customer is sending it to me for a reshaft job. never worked on or know much about these clubs-- what hosel diameter is it? thanks ahead of time for your response..
  7. the shaft is bent in the hosel.. just need a shaft change.. don't know the wede but it may need a taper tip shaft.. minor repair and won't cost much..
  8. you can use tip weights that fit into the tip of the shaft --before installation-- and these range from 2-6grams, light weight grips-- new golf pride multi compound cord--43grams. a few examples..
  9. grant, be glad to help you out if needed. toll free #877.472.7483 let me know shaft choice etc.. i can have sonartec ship direct to you.
  10. taylor mades do have a shallow bore depth-- 1 3/4 top 1.5'' on some.. your new lenght will be ruffly 42 1/4 or maybe close to 42''... not a good length for a the driver i feel. need at least 44''.. a normal pull put shaft for taylor made will be 44'' long, when inserted it will play out to 45''..give or take a little..

a butter knife or a two iron,,

i like the nv 75 better fro fairway woods and with oyur swing speed the reg flex nv75 tipped one inch and than butt cut to length will be fine and not too stiff.. you'll hardly notice any stiffness with that much cut form the butt end-- swing weight i can't commment on without kjnow the weights of all parts... guess 1 point...

they are a european company-not sure of home base but have been in buisness fro many years, the us hdqtrs is in del mar ca. top of the line quaility and perfromance golf heads. i have the tw-400 driver, as4 irons and just put the m-tour wedges in the bag to try out. so far very impressed- on the line of kzg - as far as high end components that can be bought..
  15. if i'm not mistaken the cb2 is now the CB-70 shaft that you can order.. i think the cb2 was the test name for the cb-70..
  16. the tx-90 and cross-fire are very good options.. the crossfire may provide a higher ball flight though..
  17. the vp-60 in same flex or the vista tour 60 in the same flex.. if he has strong swing or loads the club quick than the vt-60 would be best..
  18. don't see it being a problem,, the butt section of those shafts is strong enough to handle a 1.5'' plug.. i would tip more than that though..
  19. can't go wrong with either shaft really.. the ys-7 does have a softer tip section than the vp-70 and yes if you need a stiff flex get the SX flex like you wrote because the ys line does have a softer feel to them.. both very good in driver and fwy woods..
  20. tony, yes drill the left side out-- the effective loft will be changed some - not sure of percentage but in most cases the loft will go up.. it's trial and error my fiend - best way to descride the workings of driling a headout..
  21. some to look at>> fujikura tour release, aldila one, blue pro launch, purple ice... all very solid.. ken
  22. have your clubmaker pull the head off and put some rattle stop in the head.. it is a very sticky substance that does'nt harden and collects all loose poarticles in the head... do not foam a head - it will be trouble later on.. the rattle stop is a very easy fixer.. ken
  23. it can be done,, it kills all warranty on the golf head and is tricky since there is'nt much metal to work with in the begining.. ken
  24. 23'' from tip to first letter-- flex>> r,s or x letter.. ken

the 757 is a different animal than the nv65. actually the nv-75 plays closer to the speeder757. should be perfect for your swing speed and no worries that is will be too much--actually i thought the nv65 would be too soft and lack of control for your swing. what the 757 will do is bring down the ball flight some and bring in your shot disperssion .. pretty much point and swing type of feeling.. post up on how it works out.. ken
