whats the loft on yours? i might be wrong but i think that the axiv v 6070 might actually end up spinning more that the QT 65s. i have the 9.5* x-drive 460 and that combo (w/QT 65s) is launching with alot of spin for me too. For me at least, when i had the axiv v 7076 the specs were actually about the same as the QT (spin: 3800rpm, launch angle: 17*). which is kind of interesting because the v-7076 cpms in at 275 and the QT cpms at 264...you would figure the stiffer shaft would spin less. i'm thinking going to an x flex and heavier weight QT might help bring down the spin. i'm going the route of getting an 8.5* x-drive 460...so i'll let you know if that brings down the spin any.

hey everyone, just wondering if anyone had a review on this club yet? I just picked up one for my dad and was wondering how everyone else was liking the club? He likes the taylormade brand and is currently playing the r510tp. I'm trying to find him a good upgrade but he doesn't seem to be liking the club so far . I really think its the stock TV-60a shaft and not the ViQ Deep head. Can anyone think of a good replacement for the speeder 757 (the stock TP shaft)? Along the lines of GD, Axiv, or Roddio. Thanks.

hey pepps...just bought myself an x-drive 460 w/ quattro tech shaft this past week...and after hitting it at the range for a few days all i can say is WOW. The impact sound is sharp and clean...and the shaft is just smooth. Unfortunately the shaft doesn't seem to be able to handle a harder swing...so i'm debating which shaft i should change out too. I was thinking about either the quattro tech 75 s flex or the axiv v. If anyone has hit the quattro tech 75 shaft, how does it compare to the quattro tech 65 shaft? And what would be the axiv v equivilent to the axiv 6568H shaft? thanks.

nice...i really want to try these shafts now! haha. i thought the kick point was higher on the dg's?

hey peeps, i'm planning on reshafting my irons with these shafts but i have a few questions first. 1. do these shafts play true to flex? i currently play dg x100. 2. does neone know if they're available in parallel tip? i have the x-ut (i'm assuming its a .370 tip) and was hoping to reshaft it to match the irons. thanks for the help :tsg_smilie_wink:

sweet thats good to hear about the pt series. i think my top 2 choices right now are either the gd tour ad pt-8 or the axiv-v 8072. waiting to hear more about the new axiv-v line of shafts.

thanks MCsub, yea i guess i tend to hit the ball higher than average...so that would explain it. just heard that tourstage drivers play truer to loft compared to other clubs...at least i lucked out and was able to find an 8.5* x-drive 435 :tsg_smilie_smile:. but i agree with you...this club and shaft combo feels awesome. anyone have experience with the gd tour ad pt-7 or pt-8 shafts?? was thinking of using a heavier weight shafts in my driver and 3-wood.

hello...just wondering if anyone whos hit the x-drive 435 9.5* w/ gd tour ad pt-6 has had problems with it going too high?? i love the feel of the shaft and head but to get the ball down i had to change to the 8.5* head. maybe its just my swing... :tsg_smiley_embarrassed:
