Definitely a possibility though we're probably looking at mid to late summer.

Hi Char, The MB-5003's have gotten absolutely raving reviews since their release earlier this year by many independent bloggers in Japan who test gear. They've been touted for their unbelievable feel and amazing performance especially when shafted with the right shaft. They have been very popular here at TSG and for good reason. People who have gotten then appear to be very happy with them. If you look at this pic of the sole of the MB-5003 (right) and the Fourteen (left) you'll see that the Miura in fact has a bit of blunt leading edge. Blunt enough to prevent you from cutting right down into the wetter ground if it were a sharp leading edge. But not too blunt that it will still take a nice clean divot if need be: The steel shafts are what's available from Miura. (I think they can offer Graphite Design graphite as well) And with other graphite shafts, the set could be custom built for you by TSG.

R, Like you I actually saw these around the web over a month ago but I paid little attention as I did not know if they were going retail. As for the flex and load numbers. They are rather high... especially tip wise. They unfortunately have only given the TCB values but that gives you a rough idea of rigidity distribution. The F58-R has a tip load of 9.1kg as opposed to the Mach Line Proto 5350 R which is 5.7kg. I would love to see overall flex index... we're waiting for some numbers from NGS as Chris has already contacted them on this.

Yeah it was on the Golf Style blog last month actually and I think Duffer saw those pics as well last week. Scans would be great!

This has gone into play and the feel and control is just amazing... I love it... this is my putter and I'm even considering getting another Gold's... best putter I've ever owned and I've owned the best in JDM putters.... Chris took pics of his 001 twin as well:

You're right on the money there C.... It always amazed me looking at the swing speeds of JLPGA girls, many who swing between 85-90mph yet can drive the ball 240-250 yards total on average.
-
Yeah I've seen them on Yahoo Auctions... just like the original new generation X-Driver prototypes which were indeed all black.
-
Just don't play any twilight or close to darkness rounds... may be hard to find those balls!

Yes sir the whole Mizuno limited Black collection will be added! Can you imagine using a black ball on the course? I think it'd be awesome! (^_^)

Black is hot... TM started a trend with that Superquad... and now some new drivers including the X-Drive GR and Limited Mizuno Black and nv-NXs are all black.... pretty hot looking!

B I agree with you all the way! People always say JDM shafts are soft to flex... fact is many times people only perceive that soft flex while what manufacturers are creating is a shaft with feel and kick. You also bring up several points that bring certain things to light... there is NO miracle shaft... too many times people think a shaft will change everything but in the end the shaft is only as good as the person swinging it. When I do shaft recommendations, many times depending on the player's style, I sometimes recommend something softer... that will feel smooth and kick well IF the player waits for it as you say! I think many members here have seen it work for them, the softer shaft, as I've seen users post saying they are able to drive the ball better if they all slow it down and swing naturally with better balance and control...

All the 445's are square. You know you can get open up to 1.5* on the AF-101 right? (^_^)
-
Only available in 9.5* with a very slightly closed face (0.5*) and it appears the crown is black... but I need to confirm... have to find pics of the head cover too!
-
That was a one of a kind proto..... but different variations will be coming... (^_^)

Some one else pulled the trigger before you!

The wide sole is more user friendly and won't dig as much... both have similar scorelines and spin equally well.
