  1. but a store/clubfitters dream....... I agree to it being pretty dumb...... after you have adjusted it to your preferred setting, it then is redundant., unless shaft swapping but even then, once youve found your ideal shaft it really is redundant. nb as to the Japanese not using it.... check out the latest Tourstage 707 driver, probably not compatible with TM though?
  2. Stu, awesome post.....with so much info, there is someting in it that everyone can relate to. For me the Crazy and Gd mirrors my own although as a mere weakling would never entertain the 80 gm CB50....... I don't know how you choose which driver when going out the door........ Has your experience with the Zero gotten better over time?
  3. I guess its just too expensive?
  4. anyone got one, play one? I'm considering an 18 deg to replace my current 17 deg that is a) beaten up and b) don't like the kaili shaft much. if so are you happy with it? which shaft did you go with?
  5. Happy for you, TS sure makes some great equipment
  6. Great info.....what happened to the TSG results/review?
  7. me too, hence the thread.... I go back to an MR23 non conforming...... current,y gaming a 705 415, ... the only thing stopping me buying a 707 is that its 460 and it seems to me its a 705 with adjustable weights and face, im not really interested in adjustability....
  8. A few years back TS Drivers were the talk of many a forum, but lately there seems to be a lack of buzz. anywhere.... The new 707 adjustable driver has barely managed a mention and not much in the way of reviews(that i am aware of....) ihas everyone just moved on? (Crazy, J Beam, Ryoma etc.). Is this also true in Japan? Thoughts?
  9. Looks more like a BLOG to me....They had the first Zero pics too
  10. you're a lucky guy getting to play with all this kit. green with envy here.
  11. When it came out, GSS was supposed to be the softest SS out there but with the Advent of Deep Milling and FIT Faces etc. regular SS can be made to feel even softer. GSS is no longer worth it IMHO.

if you're in the US .... www.continentalgolf.com they'll make it right....... they renovated my sonartec ss07, to better than the original finish.
  13. the rc TX has only just been released so don't think there will be a lot experience out there. I have played a Sonartec SS07 forever , which as you probably know is realla RC by aNy other name. shaft I use is a Rombax 7v05 same shaft Rory uses in his driver.... for me this gives a low to medium ball flight with plenty of roll. I wouldn't hesitate to recomend TC fairways to anyone. There is a wealth of more knowledgeable people on here, hopefully they will chime in Welcome to TSG
  14. I like em but justnon looks I'd still choose the Yams
  15. currently playing RC DB protos..... love them but Fourteen has a place in my heart.
  16. Great review.... and sounds like you had a great experience buying from TSG.... no surprise there! Let us know how it performs when you have a few rounds under your belt.
  17. Great informative post.... just goes to show perseverance can pay off. With respect toyour Crazy 'breaking in' and playing slightly softer, I think its more likely that you as a player will get used to how it plays..... Thanks for posting
  18. yeah that looks good, TaylorMade 300 esq?
  19. great wrte-up..... I think these 905s are probaly the best looking blades out there... I ve toyed with the idea of getting a set to tinker round with but my Epon 302 will always be the ainstay f my bag. sounds like you've stumbled sn agreat combination oh head and shaft for you. I'd like to try the Monaco saft but fear its a tad heavy as zi am mored used to lighter shafts. post another review once you have a few rounds under your belt ....oh and let us know hw the finish on those shafts, holds up?
  20. they look nice, but aren't the carbon fibre inserts a bit '5 years ago' ? Blades are uber sexy..... whose forgings are they?
  21. Nicer looking than the Ryoma for sure.... not keen on the jewel looking weight though, but it is in the bottom!
  22. Welcome and thanks formthe great review, maybe a follow up post after you have some more rounds under your belt?
  23. this would be my response too
