  1. I am continuously amazed at all the different JSpec club makers. Nice find.
  2. I also think the head makes a difference in the way a shaft feels, works. For me - The Modus are a much better fit than the C-tapers for the 358's.
  3. The offset is there but it just seems to melt away. Looking down at address they seem to setup perfectly. Just feels/looks natural looking down at the ball being framed. I am most impressed with the performance. Feel is unmatched. I start smiling just thinking about them.... I'm worried they have ruined me... I really didn't think I would be playing a blade right now and getting along so well with them.
  4. I haven't enjoyed playing a Blade for a few years. The P2's have solved that. IMO they look incredible sitting in the bag waiting for you to draw one out... big smile followed by a purred shot... bigger smile. Just fun to play.
  5. I have a set of the SP Orange. Stiff. I'll pull them out of the "room" tomorrow and get the measurements on them.
  6. And... it looks to be "long neck'? Curious about toe hang. I'm guessing this turned out to be face balanced? Something I'm surprised we don't see more of with this style of Putter.

AFTours are a great set of blades. When it comes to forgiveness they are not as forgiving as the idbl's. Feel is very similar. The idbl's are the more solid feeling of the two and feel heavier. idbl's have slightly less offset as well. I've had two sets of AFTours and one set of idbl's I still have the idbl's..... the AFTours are gone.
  8. It's actually NOT a pretty good driver. It's actually a really really good driver. That statement comes from a true blue TM Hater. Me and for me this is a better driver than the R15.

Any chance your bag tipped over... fell off the cart.... slammed it down hard after missing a tee shot etc. The higher end shafts are much more fragile. Your pic looks just like a Crazy RD that snapped on me on the 9th hole in the middle of an important tourny I was playing in a year a go.
  10. But you have to admit..... You're not even close to an average player. Far far above especially when it comes to the driver. I'd say you're not even the 1 out of 10. More like 1 out of a 1,000 and I dare say that if they (pros) could control it like a 44-45" driver they'd play it.
  11. You'll never convince me this long of a shaft is better for the average player. As I said 90%. So, 1 out of 10 might benefit..... You won't see a player on any of the tours playing with one.
  12. I feel sorry for the average golfer that buys one of these thinking he's going to hit it further.... actually he might just hit it further.... out of bounds. I don't doubt this is a good driver head but the shaft length cannot be handled by 90% of the people that play golf.

Which club has the Crazy shaft in it? and if that's the condition you received the clubs in... the seller doesn't understand the word "pristine" Seller should be noted so as to avoid or at the very least to supply adequate pics
  14. I bought a product to help "patina" copper a couple of years a go. Unfortunately the label is hard to read now. Called "Patina-_ _ " (2 cursive letters I can't read) I believe the company is "A-West" Box 1144 Woodstock Ga. 30188 Can't swear to the address being right as it's hard to read the label It brought out the Patina
  15. I have a bunch of Epon Coppers. My favorite set is my AF301's. I head down into the dungeon every month or so just to wipe my oily sweaty hands on them in an effort to get them to darken, patina. I'll snap a couple of pics off but the camera just can't do a copper finish justice.
  16. Looks like they missed perfection by only a ..... 1/2
  17. These have grown on me to really wanting to wear a set. A bit of offset that already matches the irons I'm playing doesn't bother me at all, just makes them more playable.
  18. Although they aren't mentioned much here, GI irons are a pretty large makeup in the JDM market. PRGR, XXIO, ONOFF, as well as others have some really really good GI irons. It comes down to what helps your game. Shoot lower scores. Personally I think most people that play blades would do much better with an iron geared more toward GI. Ego on the Golf course regarding the equipment you play is a bad thing. Experiment and see what helps you shoot lower scores. For me: I grew up playing and have always played blades or a players CB. Over the last couple of years, mostly this year, I have been experimenting with slightly more forgiving clubs. I'm shooting lower and more consistently than I ever have. Ego checked.
  19. Meant to ask, what shafts are in the Yoro wedges?
  20. What I've noticed more than anything.... What was once old is now new. Lets take the "slot" for example. Tmade would make you think they just invented it when in reality it was invented/produced many many years a go. This is why I never threw my clothes away from 30 years a go. They're in style now.

The bottom line is the id-bl's and the 302's are so close in size you would have a very difficult time telling them apart. Top to bottom- heel to toe. The differences are very subtle. They id's have slightly more trailing edge relief. Slightly more (noticable) heel relief with the id's and slightly less off set. Noticeably less offset actually. I don't think there is much diff. forgiveness wise. 302 is always on the right 1st single pic is the id. last pic is 302. You can clearly see the id's have less offset. Tough picking up the differences with a camera. If you're looking for something as close to the 302's as possible with the differences I've mentioned, IMO you won't find anything any better. Especially for what you can pick a set up for.

Give me a day and I'll do comparo pics with the 302's I have both sets..... hard to say which ones I like best. IF I had to choose I'd take the uummmm the uummmm .... guess I need to go hit them again side by side. The id-bl's are really good.
  23. Yup, the ol Technity - X wedge. For those that never had a chance to see or hit them.... you really missed out. They were a large part of what sucked me into the JDM World. IMO this is when Epon was really emerging into the premier brand they were/are. Haven't set the world on fire as of late but for awhile they were top dog. Complete with copper carbon fiber ferrules. Minimalistic!!!! For the record I have a 52-56-60 that have a ton of play and practice on them. My son has them in his bag now and I can't pry them out regardless of what I dangle in front of him. You'd be amazed how good they still look. Still don't think there's anything that performs any better and certainly nothing that feels better. .
  24. My ALL TIME fav is the Epon Technity wedge in Copper Not sure why the ONOFF's have never received the praise they are due. They just flat out perform and feel amazing.
  25. I'm anything but a mallet fan but...... I think I like that one. Proves there's a few (new) designs yet to be brought out. Leave it to George!!!
