Best Hybrid shaft.
I am going to seperate myself and vote for the Matrix Ozik Altus Hybrid. The best hybrid shaft there is, at least for me. Good luck with the Matrix naming convention and what each shaft stands for...

TourStage X-Drive Weight Screws
I guess the inevitable happened to me today with my X-Drive 460. One of the screws came loose, and start rattling after a one hour session at the range, where I was hitting mostly wedges and irons. I may have hit 15-20 drives and then I started hearing the noise. This is not good. I hope this is not a serious issue, but it seems like it could be one.

TourStage X-Drive Weight Screws
Sorry for the giga-sized pictures. No, I did not touch the club at all, it is as orginal as it gets. The picture was with a Macro-zoom, so it shows a lot more details. If you look at it directly, you will not see the swirls. Second, I play a sandy course, which leaves some "nice" marks on my clubs.

TourStage X-Drive Weight Screws
Here are some pictures of my X-Drive 460 9.5 with the Ozik Xcon 6 stiff. It is currently in testing to see if it will replace my tour isuue TM. All, I have to say is so far, so good. I am still trying to adjust to the face height, as it is a deep-faced driver. I full review will follow soon, once I put a few rounds/driving range sessions under its belt.

TourStage X-Drive Weight Screws
The raw head was 198g, no plug. Brand New. It is kind of light for me, as I always play around 205g. I believe the extra weight came from the glue inside the head. Overall, with the shaft (45 inch finished) and grip, the swingweight was D2, which is where I play my driver.

TourStage X-Drive Weight Screws
My clubmaker was a ble to insert the glue tip through the hosel and it worked, no more rattle after that.

TourStage X-Drive Weight Screws
It is kind of ironic, but the same thing happened to me. I also have a Tourstage 460 with the Xcon 6 installed in it. One of the est drivers I have ever hit. Most of that is really the shaft. I am still trying to get used to the deep face, but one you launch one, it goes for sure. I was averaging about 250-260 carry with 105-110 mph, and right now, I am at 275 carry. IMPRESSIVE. When I first hit mine, after the first shot, I heard the rattle in the head, so my clubmaker decided to just insert some glue inside the head and it stopped. He also said that the weights should not come out. I did not want to force it and it worked. So I am not sure, if these are random events, or if there is a much deeper issue here....... Chris, the head weighted at 208g Anyone have had the rattle noise as well?

Epon vs. Tourstage vs. Gauge Design Fairway Woods
Thank you very much for the great review. First thing came to mind when I saw your pictures, is that the Epon FW has a deeper face, and it made me think about how well it will perform off-the-deck, and it seems like you were not having any issues with it, which is great. I know the G-Field is a great FW (even though I have not hit it), but I am really thinking hard about which one to get. I hope we can have some reviews/comparisons with the X-drive, so I can make up my mind... THank you again.
