Sgt_Slaughter
id probably take the mizuno mp-32. i havent hit the srixon so i couldnt say. but i just liked the look of them. plus mizuno makes great irons. titleist irons in my opinion arent made for me even though mizunos r in the same boat. i hit both and just had more success with the mizunos. vmhuang
Never played Titlest irons before, but the 1 set I tried felt very harsh as compared to similar offerings from Mizuno or Tourstage. The Srixions look SWEEEEET!!!! Very narrow sole though. Definitely a player's club. Never used them on a course either, just demoed a 6 iron. Very soft but not very forgiving on mis**ts. MP33s feel more forgiving. I just switched to MP32s from a set of Tourstage MR23 US Specs (cbs). The MP32s are more forgiving and feel softer. They feel even more forgiving then the MP30s I had before the MR23s. With toe hits, I get a low draw, sweet spot is still inside towards the heel which promotes a fade. I'm told that is the shot shape Mizuno engineers design for. I can still hit a draw if I setup right. I'm gonna special order a set with PX 6.5s soft stepped once D4 swingweight this coming month. Can't wait.
mbsacker87
the mp-32's look so sexy, and they feel great. the CG1 blades from cleveland aren't a bad choice either. Merry Christmas!!!
Lakerzfan8
I never tried the srixon nor the mp 32. Many teaching pros I speak to love the way mp 32s look and feels. For me, I am a Titleist person when it comes to golf clubs. I currently use 690mb and the positives for me was I can shape my shots easier and make more square divots. The negative part about the 690mb is the distance. For me, the I hit an mp 33 7 iron 165 and the 690mb 7 iron about 155. Hope this helps. +TourSpecGolfer
The MP32's are the most forgiving IMO. The Srixons feel the most pure and would be my 1st choice. as far as U.S domestic stuff goes these two are the best available.
MGB
Although I'm partial to Mizuno (I think the MP37 and MP32 are the best), I must admit to being very impressed with the Srixon I302. Very solid, soft feeling clubs.
scott1s
I guess I am a little different. I like the Titleist 690.MB the best. I have not hit the MP-32 but they look cool. I have hit the MP-33 and they are a great club but not much different then the 690's at all. The 690's are a little lighter then the Mizzy's. As far a distance goes my clubs are all screwed up at the moment. I just got back from Iraq and when we were not on a mission I was very board so I went to the gym. I gained about 15lbs in the year that I was there and I am hitting my all my clubs much longer now. I was a 7 iron hitter at 155 yards....it is now 165 yards easy. However the 690.mb's were about half a club longer then my old CB i was hitting. Hope this helps. As far as the distance debate goes...I am convinced if you want to hit everything longer....go to the gym...equipment will only help so much. MHO :smile2:
sam2011
all are nice, mizunos dont feel like traditional mizuno's for some reason IMO...but they are still solid. if you play on bermuda a lot try the 680's too...
jean_nox
If you're lefty... no choice. Titleist is the only choice. Titleist (and cleveland) is alas one of the rare brand to provide blade for us... :wah:
