March 9, 200519 yr Author Hm.. Â what is the balde iron? LOL That is bad spelling for Blade Iron, MB's is what i was trying to say.
March 10, 200519 yr Not really feeling the new GD irons...just looks like a funky TM Rac Forged TP. The muscle looks wierd with the step progression overall the 2004 CB's were much more attractive. Now the protos on the other hand look great...very promising :smile2:
April 8, 200519 yr I've putt with the Balde, Eldik-M, A1SP, A3SP. All are very eye pleasing and the quality definitely stands out. My personal favorite is the Balde. I like the soft feel and notice the "end over end" roll. IMO, it feels and sounds softer than the rest. This has been in my bag since the first day!! The Eldik-M looks the best, but Neo-mallets aren't my thing. It was too heavy for my girly arms and ended up pulling several. Nevertheless, it has a nice soft sound at impact and also has the "end over end" roll. This putter has already gone into Chris's bag. The A1SP and the A3SP are very much similar. The insert gave it that soft feel, and it had a nice soft, but crisp sound. IMO, in the 2005 lineup Gauge focused on the quality and feel of the club. There is no doubt in my mind that these we're made with an attention to detail, especially on the face and finish of the putter. Ciao!!
