OBandPL
since Graphite Design doesn't pay players it's kinda amazing they have so much play. nickyprice
The gd tour rep is a friend of mine and I talk to him about every 2nd week.He used to play the CDN tour and is a top notch guy.It is interesting because his brother came from Loomis to Aldila and has been an R & D guy in Acushnet for years now. I also dist .GD here in Canada. Here is some info; GD DOES NOT PAY ANYONE , the ys 6 is still one of the best for the moneyand was the # 1 shaft on the pga tour in 2004 for useage.GD's costs have gone up and still all their shafts are japanese made using composites which are in high demand right now; hence the higher price. One real sleeper in the line is the GAt 75 tour. It has a metal twined tip for torque reduction and yet feels very soft with great dispersion. I really don't think GD gets all the praise they deserve. The ys 6 is still one of the best shafts ever put in the 975. Cheers!! -- NICKY PRICE

HoMStYLz
great info, surprised to see Hank Kuehne still using a TM driver after all the TF adds with a Callaway 454 in his hands. also a lot more R5 hundred & R5 hundred xds in play! only 3 guys using the R5 dual TP driver, thought it may have been higher due to the bigger head size but i guess guys are using the bigger R5 hundred series drivers. shafts counts are surprising with GD right up there with Fuji. but theres no doubt that TM is #1 in drivers, amazing how many non TM guys still using them, especially with cleveland staffers, i expected more to be playing the Launcher COMP. guess a lot of guys feel like myself as finding TM to be the best feeling & longest drivers, but thats just IMO, switched from Titleist drivers to TM 2years ago when i got my 1st R510 TP. great info, cna't wait till i make it out there, ill back up the brinks truck to the tour vans then rent a house to store them, & invite all my fellow hoes over! :smile1:

+TourSpecGolfer
GD's costs have gone up and still all their shafts are japanese made Not true, as the distrib you should know that they make some of their shafts in Mexico now also.
