+TourSpecGolfer
Many of you have probably seen the T stamp titleist Irons forged by Endo on ebay from time to time. In 2003 there was a special run of Titleist Japan only Irons made by Miura that featured Tigers MP-14 like grind. 500 of these sets were made and sold for 5000.00 in a cherry wood box with a letter of authenticity from titleist and an actual signed picture of tiger. This was the only time they sold his exact grind irons forged by Miura. I recently acquired set 2-PW #127/500 in 8.5 condition: It is noticeably a different grind with the short irons having a rounded toe . I want to keep this set in my personal collection but want them in pristine condition so I decided to have them refinished in Japan. My question to the TSG'ers is should I refinish them in high quality chrome and bring them to Original or shall I have them done in beautiful brushed satin to have the only Miura titleist Tiger irons in satin? what cha guys think on this one? FAQ
I'd keep it pure and do chrome. But, that's just me. Very cool irons though!
HenBogan
If the idea is to keep them as a collector's item then keep the in the original finish. If you plan to use them then whatever finish your eye likes best. Regardless great find.
+TourSpecGolfer
Ya know guys to be honest I don't know how long I can keep clubs like this without hitting them. Its best I refinish them and sell them for the good of the Ho  .
K2_2
If you are going to keep them as a collector's item I guess I'd get them redone in chrome as well. BTW,

hornyjuan
Play them, then refinish them in the chrome so they'll be in original condition. Having them satined and one of a kind is cool but the original conditional will bring you the most money. BTW are the irons the exact specs as Tiger's include loft, shaft etc? Yup, same loft, Lie, shaft, etc...but because they are of a quality forging and this is a "used" set I'm sure the lofts and lie angles are slightly off original specs. These Irons are not for play, I don't play blades and I don't particularly care for the feel of miura forgings. I'm going to keep them in the collection or sell them off. I appreciate all your comments and am leaning toward chrome at this moment.
