No worries mate, like I said, I love reading about all this exotic equipment, so I'm happy there are guys on this board that get to try it out!

Good luck with your study and your golf! By the way, what's your handicap?

did you try the first GD MB's? although they are old news already, i still really want to try them. They'd have to be one of the nicest, if not the nicest sets of heads i've ever seen. i drool just thinking about them.

yeah. those were beautiful! they just never seemed available new and have never seen a set used. hopefully the new mb will be similar and more conventional in appearance.

i bought the 05 gauge mbs off chris at xmas time.......these were unbelievable to look at.....honestly the most funky, stylish blade ive ever seen.....the bling bling factor on these was cool...people asked me all the time what they where and how they could get them!

the mbs were mucho forgiving for an mb, and ino they played every bit as easy as the majority of player cbs on the market! however in terms of forgiveness the nc1s are the tops!

cant wait to review the new mbs and to compare all the sets!

:wah: You guys are killing me. I first starting using Mizuno, because Nick Faldo was using Mizuno, and at the time he was winning more than his share of majors.

These Gauge clubs are unbelievable

Does anyone know the history of the company?

The relationship between Gold's Factory and Gauge Design?

Does anyone know where the forgings are done for the NC1s and the '05 MBs? Will the new MB2s continue to be forged by the same place as the first MBs?

Thanks for shedding any light...

i'm pretty sure kyoei did the forgings for the proto, retail and studio nc1 and '05 mb. all the "heads only" i've seen come in a kyoei plastic sleeve and sticker with all the specs printed on it.

Thanks NaisuShotto...I hope the current line continues with the impressive craftsmanship.

1. Heads are purchased from a Himeji foundry

2. Heads are hand ground then CNC milled for decoration

3. Heads are finished by Kyoei

4. Assembly is done in Tokyo at the Gauge Warehouse

I dont know exactly who does the grind work in Japan.

wow. that's a lot of steps. gd irons are a pretty good deal considering all that outsourcing.

 Well, lets ask the question, can you order the nc1s in custom loft and lies?
