mx-20
Out of those three, please rank in order of forgiveness off the deck, face height, and trajectory. Thanks for your help!
plus1
i have not tried the viq fw however if i was going on the driver id have to say it would be very very forgiving! the xst is definately more shallow than the fst, it sits to me quite like a v steel.... the fst had a very deep face which i found hard to get up off the deck, also i found it harder to make consistent contact. if it is forgiveness you are looking for i would say go for the viq, whereas if it is consistency and solid strike go xst! either way you are on a winner!!! PS the mizuno jpx gets real good reviews so dont let it escape the option list!!
+TourSpecGolfer
I agree with plus1, The FST+ had the deepest face of all three. The ViQ setup .5 closed and had a rounded toe yet was the easiest to hit with a hollow yet muted feel to it. The X-ST my favorite isnt as deep faced as the FST+ but the club I would reccomend most to a player. It has a nice head heavy sensation and works better out of the deck than the FST+ did. The FST+ is my favorite off of the tee though, it felt like a mini driver. Go XST IMO!
acrazygolfer
The F-st+ w/ AD M70(s) is great off the tee. Off the deck, it required a little finer swing if not a perfect lies.
MCsub
I can only speak of the X-ST, as it is the only one I have. I recently got it to replace my Gauge GAF1. I have only had 2 range sessions with it, and can attest it is quite a bit easier off the deck than the Gauge was. I look for a 3 wood to be good off the deck first and off the tee second, and I am very happy w/ the club in that role. Luckily, it is easy off the tee too. mrzodia
X-ST is far better than the F-ST. IMO feels great, is easier to hit, looks sleeker, and has much more distance.
