Anyone have any insight as to what differences there will be in the shafts that re going to be offered in the U.S. ?

You mean the Rombax isnt available in the U.S yet? I thought this shaft was released late 2004?

The difference you will see is probobly the raw length uncut. 46" in Japan 48" in america. Currently in Japan they have 4 different models: Irons, 7V05, 6V05 and Tour Spec 7V05.

Wow - I must have missed that - what models are available in the U.S. ?

Do they differ from the Japan version ?

I just checked the Fuji U.S site and it isnt listed. Im not sure if they are available yet in the U.S, maybe joey or paul can give us the DL on that.

I don't think they are readily available in the US.

They do come in the Taylormade R7 425 TP though. At least I think thats the same shaft.

We'll see if they are exactly the same. I would hope they would be however, given the extremely high price of the TP!

I'm not sure if the TM version is strictly a 'Romabax' or a different version using Rombax technology.

Anbody else know?

The TM shaft is called RE*AX and according to the website the TP shaft features Rombax technology. To answer AK's question I don't know(how's that for help???) My local club guy, who is a Charter Fuji dealer doesn't know anything about the Rombax.
